Perhaps I'm just busy and my brain is fried, however, on the I-134 there is a section asking for "Relationship to Sponsor."

When the CO-SPONSOR is completing the I-134, what would be put in this section? None?

My co-sponsor (father) currently listed none in this box as he is not related to my fiancee. I'm assuming they are asking for the relationship of the beneficiary to the co-sponsor, since on my I-134 I listed fiancee as the relationship to the sponsor.

Can anyone that has used a co-sponsor before set my thinking straight?

I think you are taking the word 'relationship' in this context too literally. eg....if someone for whatever reason says 'what relationship is this person to you'........ answering 'friend' 'mother' 'father' 'fiance's father' or 'a business acquaintance' etc would all be correct when the word 'relationship' is taken in the context it is meant.

I hope this has helped unfry your brain tongue.gif

STL_HCMC,

Hardly. At the very least the relationship would be 'sponsor'.

In your case, it sounds like your fiancee's sponsor is her father-in-law, and so she would be his daughter-in-law? to be?

Thank you both (Aussiewench & Yodrak) for the reply back. I was at work and trying to get the document complete to send to my co-sponsor for notarization and my brain was just zapped at that point.

An appropriate description would be "future daughter-in-law".
