I'm just curious..... I'm still waiting for my visa from the Algerian Embassy.

I voted yes because Dave does need a visa to visit me here in Brazil. But he just had to send his passport to the agency and in less than two weeks he got it back in the mail. tongue.gif

No need for a visa to visit the Philippines thankfully. I am going back next month and when I bought my tickets my travel agent told me that they changed the rules and I needed a visa! I called the Philippine consulate and they said no. Not sure what was going on there.
Mr. Big Dog
Yeah, I need a visa. Purchased it for $35.00 upon arrival at Addis Ababa's Bole Airport each time I went. I could buy one at the Ethiopian Embassy in DC but that would cost me $70.00 plus postage. I don't get it...

Actually, you did get a visa when you arrived. You got your passport stamped with a 21 day visa. Stays over 21 days require an extended stay visa that can be applied for after you are already there or before you leave.

I had to have an Israeli visa to enter the West Bank. They are usually not hard to obtain for an American citizen.... you can just show up at the border, and as long as you have money you'll likely be issued a 3-month visitor visa. Unless you're one of those "peace activists" that Israel finds so irritating. Then you're "persona non grata."

You need a visa from Algeria, where my man is from, but we met in Paris and he lived in Paris, so I always went there. I did need a visa when I moved there for a while, though.

I don't think you need to have a visa to go to morocco for less than three months
