To my friends: let's share your experience and advice here fro May interview in Mumbai consulate. Her interview is on May 12th and I am little bit nervous.

Based on what I am reading in other forums, should I

1. Ask my fiancee to submit to consulate list of who attended the engagement ceremony.
2. Get letters from both parents that we love each other. I gave similar letter during 129f filling
3. Any other thoughts from gurus here.

You can prepare the list of prepare who attended the engagement ... usually for engagement the Mumbai consulate asks for a list of 20 people... and for weddings around 30.

The other thing is ... if you want a letter from parents or relatives, you have to get it in form of affadavits.

Jigi, thanks so much for the information. Can you advice me how was the Chicago Port of entry experience? I am thinking Will my fiancee be able to come by herself? It is hard for me to take time off?



Also, Jigi, is there anything else that consulate may ask other than usual relationship document ( we have e-mail, phone log, card, gift recept, phots, bills in calcutta)...
