Thank you

I don't think we ever used the copies that I kept. You are talking about copies of the actual petition that was filed, correct?

yes. exactly.

Just have him hold on to any NOAs he receives. Copies of the petition filed aren't necessary to keep since all you would have to do is fill out another with the same info and back date it.
SHAPE OF MY HEART
Hi there,
My husband also, didnt have the copies of originals of what we sent to them(130 and 129-f), Instead i let him made new ones. (which is exactly the same infos to our previous ones)
I am not sure if it's still needed during the interview, but its better to be prepared. smile.gif

As long as you have the originals or copies of the evidence that was submitted then that is all you may ever need... and chances are that you won't need that either.

the copies are just backup in case something happens

worst that can happen to you is USCIS loses your file and you'll have to send everything again to your husband

Yes, the best practice of making two full copies of the submission is for reference. Copy one for the petitioner's file and copy two is sent to the beneficiary for reference and interview preparation. Many of the family related information and dates should be learned by the beneficiary.

If no copy, just fill it out again.
