Yes it is ok to have the medical 2 weeks before the interview...Though,I dont have my own medical yet but I have read other peopleīs experience about it here. Some did even a month before, but i guess thatīs the most. I have my interview on the 23rd of May too wink.gif
Iīll be having my medical in early May too...May God bless our medical and interview soon...

what they advised is at least a week ahead of your interview schedule but 1 month is pretty much acceptable as long as it's prior your interview date smile.gif God Bless.

It's okay to have your medical two weeks before your interview.I had my medical 3 weeks before my interview date and I had no problem about it.

nope itīs not necessary to call SLEC for that, we can just go there anytime within their office hours. Just dont forget to bring the requirements needed.

No need to call slec. Anytime you can go there & just present your appointment letter,2x2 picture, passport. It's better to have an early medical for incase. I had my medical almost 1 month before my interview. Good luck smile.gif

It is always advisable to have an early medical to give the applicant ample time before the interview incase SLEC/Physicians finds something suspicious with the lab results especially with the Chest X-rays. For those with suspicious findings on their Chest X-rays, it is mandatory that applicant undergo sputum AFB tests which is done 3 consecutive mornings and even if this is negative (smear negative AFB/TB), they will still have to undergo the sputum AFB culture which takes about 8 weeks (because it takes about 3-4 weeks for the mycobacteria to grow in the culture media).

As long as you already received your apppointment letter, you can go to SLEC and have your medical, doesn't have to be done on the date that is written on the appointment letter. I had my medical 1 month in advance.

Good Luck!
