Our lawyer sent our petition to CSC, March 7th, and still nothing. Is this a regular thing? I've not seen anyone on here with a timeline short of a NOA1 or short of check cashed within a week of sending their petition in. I am confused and annoyed...... please

I suggest you consider refiling again. I originally sent my I129F on 12/6 that was stamped received by uscis. After waiting close to 2 months without a receipt or check cashed, I was finally told that my application was rejected. When you call uscis, they will tell you to wait until 3 months because of backlog. You will have to tell them that it has already been over 3 months, then they will research your application. I think they lost my application and tell me it was rejected because I never got a rejection letter after requesting it multiple times to find out what went wrong with the application.
I finally resubmitted my application on 2/23. It was received by uscis on 2/26 and got a noa1 on 2/29. I called them two weeks ago to request the rejection letter again, and still haven't received it in the mail. I was so mad and anxious before, but I am getting over it now and look forward to the new application being processed.
Good luck on your application. With uscis, you will need it.
