do you give them your MTL2008... and ask if the interview was scheduled?

or do you ask if *any* new interviews were scheduled?

No, I give them my MTL2007... b/c our case is older.

I just ask if I have an interview date yet. Sometimes they just say no, sometimes they give me more info (like when we became eligible for the interview). I haven't asked about other interviews, but you could certainly give it a try.

jmd, the first thing you could ask is if they received your application (then you will know when u got into the system)

we are a couple that got in the system the 8 of april (rae, laura, me, perhaps yomtl too)
cbr is from the 10 of april

From there you will have an idea as of probably after who you will have an interview (except if they decide to setup interviews for everybody available on their list all at the same time)

That's weird, we're MTL2008. And we're just as old as you lol. I wonder why that is? Wait a sec I know it's cuz you were approved in 2007? We weren't until 2008? I bet that's it. I could just delete this now and not post, but what the heck.

And YES call tomorrow ! I'm calling Friday for sure. It will be 2 weeks then since my last call.

Hello Everyone,

According to our lawyer in LA and our Congressman the interview process is unlike the petition process ie. priority dates. The interviews are filled in batches ie. Monthly. So depending on the numbers one could have sent in packet 3 a month before the other but their interview dates could technically fall on the same day.

Until there is enough of us to fill up the month they won't issue interviews thus the inactivity for some Feb/Mar/Apr couples waiting for dates.

Here is the part that sucks...the later into spring/summer we go with no dates the longer the wait times get due to "holidays". In the spring/summer the number of interviews they book per month decreases by almost half due to understaffing.

Anyhow....we are farther along then most....keep calling....sooner or later everyone will get their day!

You're pretty much right. We were approved in 2007 but I think more importantly our P3 was sent out in 2007.

check it out...it's part of Bush's Patriot Act...I don't know...but according to her/him they had pictures of their religous African weddind ceremony that only existed on their email...it was never sent to their embassy..they sent in pictures but not those ones....I wonder......oh boy...no...they can't do that can they??

No offense to that person that got denied but one of them must have let it slip to the embassy in some way or the other.
I've never heard of them gaining access into people's personal email accounts.

you should read it...they didn't get denied for their email...it was crazier then that....the guy spelled his name wrong or something stupid...anyhow..she said their file was 3 inches thick and she saw stuff that only existed in her email account...check it out...."I aint lying!"

I think she may have been mistaken with what she saw....again, no offense to her whatsoever I just don't believe they do that.

You know that packet they send with you when you finally cross the border with your visa.......that you're not supposed to open....has anyone ever looked at what's in there? Maybe that's why they tell you not to open it....they probably have pictures from space of us freezing are asses off drinking timmies and complaining how it sucks to WAIT!

I don't know if this is the same post being referenced, but I recall reading one where the interviewer somehow tricked the person into giving out their email account info (log in/password) so the officer looked at it that way. I don't doubt them doing that. But I agree about them not hacking into them. Highly doubt they do that. They'd have to have psychic powers to find what email I even use lol. They wouldn't find anything interesting there either haha. The other thing is, if they got married & were filing for a k-1 doesn't it make sense they got denied?

I have a feeling they do, since it's been a few weeks since a number of people all got interviews within a few days of each other. Which is also why it's great we are all talking to each other here about who's calling b/c once one person gets an interview, I think a number of us will. And then it will make sense to call.
