No they didn't tell me. The only thing I know is that it was already in their system the first time I called (April 10 or April 11).

Oh yes my friend, seven freaking months for us and others. And we were doing DCF, which is supposed to be fast and furious.

Aww, I always seem to miss when you guys are posting in here. I had a stupid headache all day & slept most of it away. I like the part about the meeses lol. That's the good and bad about VJ...we can get caught up in the bad stuff and increase our worries & sadness but on the good side we can get happy & excited hearing about everyone's successes along the way. I so hope that some of us have interviews the same week at least. That would be so much fun to meet up for a coffe or something.

I'm the 10th (receipt date per dos). I'm hanging onto the hope that it means i'll get my date very soonly after you guys! If only my fiance hadn't forgotten to sign that dang form!! He went to the post office & got it back so it went out a day or 2 later. Ah well. We'll get there.

My reasoning is that I wanted to give them all week, and if they schedule it today, but I call too early, I won't find out until sometime next week when I next call. So... later today.

I hear ya laura. I haven't seen Jeremy since January and it's so hard. This was a difficult week for us and I have been really depressed.
I'm so beyond sick of waiting and I don't have much to keep my mind off it now. In fact it's really hard to concentrate on doing anything because
all I can think of is going to get this interview over with. I don't even want to try to distract myself anymore, it's baloney. You guys are all lucky that you can each still go both ways (us/canada). It's been on me for almost an entire year to do the traveling and I can't anymore ($$/vac days).

I am so sorry Debbie. I don't think I have anything to say that will make you feel any better. You know this waiting will come to and end and it will all be wonderful when it's over, but it's the now, the getting through the waiting, that sucks so bad. I really hope MTL starts handing out dates next week, since there seems to have been quite the lull for the past few weeks.
I think the bad times make us appreciate the good times so much more, so even though right now sucks, there will be a flip side to it. You just have to continue being patient. I hope you feel better soon.

I want it to be Monday...I hope this week we start getting interview dates.

I know it's just going to be surreal for a while when he's finally here. On the up side, I get my next set of 5 weeks vacation in July so I can spend those with him here & not have to make the 9 hour trip.

I think we're all getting over anxious but when you think about it, doesn't it usually take around 4 weeks to get the date? Or the packet 4? That's first next week anyway. Hopefully MTL will be right on time with it and we'll all get our dates by next friday. I hope so!!

I'm not, but I woke up with a good vibe that this is the week we all find out!! I will probably wait until Friday again unless you guys from the 8th get your dates by weds, then I might give it a try.

In general the closest to get an interview on the list call like one on monday, the other one on wednesday and another one on friday (to avoid bugging them all the time and to not feel like stalker either )

Call Dept. of State: 202-663-1225, option 1, then 2.

I think they put you on the list for an interview when they get the 2 ds forms & checklist from you.
You bring the rest to the interview.
