Hi everybody, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Ric from California and I'm very close to submitting the I-130 for my wife Marivic.

Like many others, I'm debating whether to go solely with the CR-1 or apply for the K-3 as well... I've already learned a lot from this site.

hi.. if i were you go with I-130... but make sure that you check every single detail of it before filing your papers.
the difference will just be few months and besides there will be no more adjustment needed and no more application for work permit ect.
but if you really want you to be together soon... go for K3 the process in the embassy is just 3-4 months.... compared to I-130 may be up to 12months???

which ever you choose Good luck coz we are still waiting for our approval filed AUGUST 13, 2007... so its better to start soo....
