Well its not Thursday yet here (39 minutes!) but I haven't started a daily thread in many months so HA!

Today going to get a lot done because I am taking a trip to the East Coast and then out of the country for a while so I need to see a dentist about this on going problem I have had that I've been ignoring! Fun stuff!!!

I guess I have been out of the US too long, but what is a 'car seat class'? How much of a discount can you get? (When I shopped with my sis for one a few years ago, they could be hundreds of dollars!!)

Good morning everyone!! Another deary day here in Wisconsin. I don't know how much more i can take of all this dread and rain. GIVE ME SOME SUN AND WARMTH PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I hate dental things! I have such a fear all my teeth will fall out, even though I have yet to lose one-- not even extractions. I dreamt last night that i bit down hard on my teeth and my first molar on the upper left fell apart completely. But it was gross because it sort of shattered and I could pick pieces of it from my gums. So I went ot the dentist and got it "fixed" only to do the same thing over and over. The whole time it tasted like that taste when you get a filling and they put that yucky cotton in your mouth.

Wasn't that a disgusting thing for me to tell you! Better than a few noghts ago when i dreamed water was coming under the walls of my bedroom and I really got up and started screaming "OMG! Flood! Ammar! Water!!!" I ran over there and was trying to push the water back until I realized I was jsut dreaming with my eyes open. Anyway, he never did wake up so good thing there wasn't a real emergency

gotta work today....tomorrow im off and its payday friday, saturday i work, and that will be my last day til JUNE!! soooo excited....it is cold and rainy here today, they are calling for rain all weekend infact....ahhh Chicago...its to be expected i guess....hope everyone has a wonderful day...

holy crap i'm so nervous i could puke!!!!!!!!!

I have a meeting in 15 minutes and then I'll have all day to worry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He'll be at the airport at 7pm my time but the worry part is that he cannot call me from Rome since he's leaving his cellphone in Egypt for somereason beyond my comprehension. God help me get through this till he is in my arms. I keep thinking of that movie Rendition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well my husband and the dog made it in to Chicago tuesday. No problems. The officer at the airport asked a few questions. And mostly about our age diffrence. Damn that is none of there bee's wax
Hubby is so drained and is still sleeping. We did go into town yesterday to get some stuff for the dog kennel. And he was....Americans are so spoiled. Because we didn't have to run around all day finding what we needed we just got it at one store. I just keep telling him welcome to america baby We ordered him a cell phone so he can call freinds and family back in Egypt. So far he likes it here, and loves our home.
OMG the feeling of seeing him come thru the doors at the airport I just keep stearing at him I can't belive he is here. I love that man!

Caught some "ick" thing..phlegm, sneezing, coughing, watery eyes, runny nose...yeah, its great. Just another thing to be wrong with me lol... all I can say is alhamdulillah that I'm alive and able to experience each day as a new day. *sigh* no matter how hard it may be at times.

American Idol Gives Back was awesome last night. The performances were fantastic!! except Ben Stiller ...

I have plans to work thru my yuckiness and when I get home 2nite, clean the helloutta my house and make a great evening for my family.....then make an even greater evening for hubster if I can muster up enough energy Poor man has been without for more than 2 months so I think he deserves a break, ya know

Bridget - don't worry about him not having a cell phone. When my husband's flight got delayed at JFK on the tarmack for 4 hrs, he borrowed the cell phone from the person next to him a few times just to make sure I knew what was up If something happens, I'm sure he will find a way to get ahold of you so don't worry too much.

I agree. My husband borrowed a cell phone to tell me arrived and then bought a Sprint calling card to call back later to let me know his flight was delayed. He also bummed a light so he could smoke. These guys are more resourceful than you think.

BTW...my husband left his cell for his sister who didn't have one.

I had a bad dream...my husband had a bad dream too, that his brother was crying for him...oi. I don't know what that means and I was a bit afraid. The Devil was trying to play with my mind. I wokpe up to his phone call and he said not to think about it.

Anyway, Bridget this is a CRAAAAAAAZY time eh! Now how many times did ya "see" him going through the airport?? haha It will be wonderful! The stoic accountant is allowed to have an emotional break down. Please enjoy it! lol Ya some don't want to bring cell phones here, he could call from rome airport? I told my husband to make some pounds and call from heathrow. Rome should be acessible as well. If anything people are pretty nice, could borrow and say hey im herrrrrrrrrrrrrre!

You said some of the posts make you want to cry.

Sometimes you have to stay away from VJ all together. This place is addicting but seriously some of the ppl and discussions are toxic. Try as you might, it's hard to not compare yourself and your relationship to others. Especially when it comes to horror stories. It's also very hard to feel joy for someone else when your life and situation is sucking at the moment.

Happy Thursday to all and pray that it is blessed and full of healing for those that have posted feeling not well and those that are reading feeling not well.

About the weather well it is going to be nice and sunny getting to 80 and this weekend 88 and 89. Sorry for those that are enduring the harsh weather.

I had to get a health certificate, so I had the tests done today. For drawing blood it only took 3 tries . After the first try, the nurse said "ohhh i'm so sorry, your veins are so hard to find". I told her "it's ok, it's happened before, don't worry", then she said, "I'm new at this"...that's when I started to worry! I already see the bruise color starting to form!


I'll leave the rest of the cleaning for later!

No, this is what they asked for at work. (I work in a drugstore, and they sold that drugstore to Walgreens, and Walgreens is keeping us on as employees, but we need to get our health certificate).

I have to get the blood tests done for the marriage, but that's when Akram gets here, because it expires quickly. But we won't be having it done at the lab I went today that's for sure

Ok, I say that kellys baby will be here next thursday evening at 6:42pm and he will be 8lbs 6oz and be 20 inches long!
