Oh, Gogo, your siggie story just broke my heart!! cray5ol.gif I am going to pray for you tonight.

Maybe you can take paid leave at your job. I forget what its called but its the same leave that a person gets when they just had a child, or even just adopted a child. man I cant think of it. Its paid leave up to a certain point and then legally your job can not let you go. FMLA is I think the acronymn for it.

The 434,374 was for Immigration visas. There was over 6.4 million non-immigration visas....

Of course that was fiscal year end, so this years report will likely be through the roof....but that likely has something to do with why they are so slow... still, that is no excuse for approvals being spread out 3 months before and after their posted "so called" processing dates.
Is it too much to ask of them, if you say "Today" then mean "Today" and not 3 months from now. blink.gif

Yes too much to ask! crying.gif

thank you guys !! Yes, actually I do have 1 year "leave of absence" from work to take.. I get to keep my government job.. but after that, I can still come back, but only be put back on the list (for 2 years) and if I don't get picked up, I lose it.. I just want to be with her now.. it has been way too long.. we never got to celebrate anything together.. next month I'm finally going back to celebrate with her for my birthday =) yay.. I am so excited.. usually our Christmas was just two of us on webcam (like many others) and wearing the santa claus hats =( that's how we celebrate christmas and other holidays.. but I always try to make her laugh (even when she is crying and sad and misses me).. she would laugh in the middle of her tears.. blush.gif .. I miss you my baby.. crying.gif crying.gif

are those really the ones that are still waiting? haha, I just want to see some "exact" numbers so when I go in next time I can show them =) they say they want it from a official website (.gov), so can someone find the numbers that they did do this year? Thanks good.gif
gogo
found something here...

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...0004718190aRCRD

"official" good.gif

USCIS has received a significant increase in the number of applications filed. In July and August, nearly 2.5 million applications and petitions of all types were received.. This compares to 1.2 million applications and petitions received in the same time period last year.

Fiscal Year 2007 : (2 months receive 2.5 million) ==> 12 months receive 15 million
Fiscal Year 2006 : (2 months receive 1.2 million) ==> 12 months receive 7.2 million

from this table, http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/FY07AnnualReportTableI.pdf, they only do about 6 million applications per year, yet they receive 22.2 million (15 million + 7.2 million) (2006 and 2007).

6 / 22.2 ==> 27% COMPLETED in 2006 and 2007

The annual reports appear to be based on Fiscal Year end, so you will unlikely find any web based reports on data from October to now.

This report was for all non-immigration visas, which from what I understand includes K-3, but K-3 is not listed in the report. Unless the K-1 and K-3 are combined under fiancé I-129F: http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/FY07Annual...rtTableXVIA.pdf

I’m not sure if this is part of what you need, but you can point out, or you have likely already pointed out, that your processing date was suppose to be based on 4/16/07 and that the USCIS has posted that they are currently processing 9/8/07.

I can only imagine the suffering you are going through. I’ve only been waiting since October.. I would definitely recommend flooding your Senators and Congressmen with your issue mad.gif .
I wish you luck and speed...
