I'm just venting. But this is crazy. 3 weeks since my NOA2, and yet the NVC still hasn't gotten their paperwork yet.
Anyone else get a NOA2 on or after March 19th and have the NVC receive it yet? (CSC only please.)
I know others are in the same boat as me, but I want to figure out if anyone is not facing these long wait times.

My case took months not weeks to get to NVC. NVC claimed to not have it for those months. USCIS assured me they did. In the end it turned out that USCIS held many cases for months & then sent them.
I doubt you will find anyone that has a different outcome.
That really stinks how CSC holds some up before sending to NVC. It sure would be nice to have an explanation from them on that. On the up side, for most of you guys, at least you didn't wait so long for your NOA2 so in the scheme of things your entire wait isn't so bad even with this delay. And once it gets to NVC it really does go pretty quick (usually).
I feel for you guys I really do. I know exactly how it feels to be waiting, believe me.

We are approaching 9 weeks after my NOA2 and yet NVC hasn't received our case. I called almost daily and since wrote them two snail mails to both NVC and CSC and hope to hear from them within a week or two.
I wonder how long is the longest wait between NOA2 and NVC.
Keeping our collective fingers cross.

I just found after calling to check to see if my RFE mailed March 22 to CSC had been received....that there are new contractors in the mailroom and incoming received mail is taking 4 weeks to reach the recipient...probably true for outgoing mail too....so more delays...typical

Anyone know who to contact to update the K1 Process Flowchart? Clearly the 1-2 weeks between NOA2 and NVC should be updated to reflect the current delays and not get anyone's hopes up.

Well we were approved around the same time as most of you guys. 21st March.
I called yesterday and they still don't have it!
I'm not too fussed about waiting to be honest, but I agree it is bloody annoying.
I'm just going to keep watching folk on here and hoping for a quicker time than we had for the NOA2. lol
How do you get NVC to email you? Have we missed something?

My fiance just called NVC 3 mins ago and they said they didnt have our file there yet, our petition was approved on March 19th which is 2 days prior to Nova17's date where she got approved. She got her case number already (Congrats!)
Can anyone pls explain to me why it could happen? They mentioned that they processed case by order. I certainly should have been in the order where I should have been passed. Any response will be much appreciated
Thanks!

Just got off the phone with NVC, still no sign of my paperwork.
I'd gotten my hopes up after someone who got NOA2 after me got a NVC number earlier this week, but still nothing.
Damn you CSC. Damn you!

Called again this morning!
Still not received yet
I've seen some cases that were approved the same day as ours already reach the NVC. What the heck is up with that?
This is crazy and the whole frustrating feelings are coming back again.
We were approved on 21st March and then we were touched again on 24th March. I kind of hoped that was when they were shipping us out?
My mistake!
Darn them to heck!!

Roselinda,
We are in the same situation: approved on March, 21st, touched on March, 24th.
No news since then.
Last time I called NVC on Friday morning, because I heard from a couple, who was approved the same day, that their case had been received by the Consulate already.
Anyway, all we can do is just wait.
Good luck to everyone!

Tasha and Roselinda,
Frustrating really. All I want to do is venting here. I don't think I will call NVC again until this Friday. I do not expect that my case is already there cuz it's smashing me down somehow to learn the exact opposite!

We got an e-mail yesterday, saying that our petition was received by NVC. They are in the process of entering it into their computer system and assigning a case number.
Hope all of you hear from NVC soon. They've probably got all of our petitions already, but it takes time to get them out of the mail room.
Good luck!

Roselinda,
thank you.
I agree that it's a wise idea to hold off calling (even though I couldn't help calling a couple of times

).
E-mail worked better for us though, since NVC seems to reply when the case is received and it's less disappointing then hearing: "I'm sorry, we don't have your case."
I hope you hear from NVC sooner than you expect! The same goes to everyone else here.

Okay at last NVC have our case
Weird thing is that I called on Monday and they hadn't received it yet but I've just been told it's already been sent to London and I have a new case number.
Either way we're overjoyed!
Good luck everyone else waiting on CSC to pull their fingers out.

Just called today. Still nothing. They did change the spiel though from "Allow 2-4 weeks" to "Allow 4-6 weeks". Not sure if it was just because the person realized it had been 4 weeks already, or if they've changed the spiel due to problems at the CSC.
I had a HECK of a time getting through. First time ever I got busy signals calling in.

Yeah, we are all still in the same boat. I called last night, and was told that it isn't in their system yet, and was given the 2-4 week spiel, but also that it could take them up to 90 days to enter it in their system after receipt.
My guess is there's additional processing that goes on, after csc approves a petition (don't know if this is at csc or at nvc or at DHS, as somebody seemed to imply), and that's where the delay takes place? The theory that csc seems to hold petitions untill there's enough of them to ship, doesn't seem to hold up, because the operator seemed to imply that they receive petitions from csc every week.
Any way, I guess we will all be monitoring this thread for progress.
