I have been observing the recent I-130 approvals from CSC on these forums. Since past month or so, CSC has been approving I-130 AND K-3 together (on the same day). However, VSC is approving only I-130 even though a K-3 is associated with it.

I want a K-3 because getting my wife to US quickly is more important to me than her green card. But going by the trends of VSC based on VJers experience, my I-130 will get approved before K-3 and then I will be in a delima - whether to wait for K-3 to be approved at a future unknown time or whether to pursue the approved I-130 on my hand.

Anybody knows why this descrpency between the VSC and CSC processing?

Hi Hurryup - I am not sure why the difference in the offices are happening. I would like to suggest that if your I-130 is processed that you follow through with all the necessary steps. If you send NVC all the needed forms for your I-130 this will not stop USCIS from processing your I-129F if they are still planning on doing it.

Hi Paris Heart. I too am in Houston and my husband is in Australia. We filed at the VSC and hoping to hear something soon. It's nice to know that there is someone else here in Houston that has filed their docs with VSC.
