Jim and I called USCIS on Apr 3rd (as I was in California) and the first guy we got was a dunce, couldn't be bothered to even listen to us! So we politely said "thank you" and called again (the RFE line). There's soooo many answering the phones that everyone needs to keep calling till they get someone that does their job! The next call we made was to Officer Mangan...awesome lady! We told her the scoop, 6 months to the day that they had received our I-129F and no NOA2 or anything...she put us on hold and said she'd check. She got back on the phone & said it was with an adjudicator right now. I started talking & told her the anxiety we were having as we have a 6 week window to get my son into school there (by the time he's done school here & when it starts there). She put us on hold again, then came back online & said that she would email the adjudicator our concerns. Low and behold, Jim got the mail today & our NOA2's were there! I thought they were RFE's as our status online hasn't changed still (kinda concerned about that so if anyone has experienced this, please talk to me!). So, NOA2's for both effective April 3, 2008! I'm in absolute shock and amazement! Thank you to everyone for sharing info and experiences on VJ! Good luck to everyone! El...your hubby could get yours in the mail soon!!
