the riot was a riot, wasn't it? i always love how a few nut jobs can ruin the party. honestly, who sets police cars on fire?! (not this gal! i want my K1!!!)

have a blast at the game! i'll be watching it on tsn in the comfort of... my gym. yup, they have tvs on the treadmills so i'll be doing my cardio while watching the game. i figure if they can skate around for hours, i can certainly walk on a treadmill.

Im at the gym too watching the Caps game!! My gym is called the couch, and I'm doing 1 armed barley lifts!!!! 2-2

Well both my teams lost!!! Caps were outplaying philly as well in OT. Was a very questionable tripping cal in OT. Ya maybe a good call in the 2nd period,but not OT!! Oh well, was an exciting game to watch!! Was nice seeing OV at the end of the game acknowledge the fans, total class act.

And yep, my Flames lost as well, no big surprise there, watched most of the 1st period and they were outplayed. Guess will jump on the Cdns band wagon,lol and still cheering for Pittsburgh.

I too am very sorry about the Flames . On to the next round I am also going for MONTREAL to win it all, and Colorado and Pittsburg and I think San Jose.

what a game! i really think fleury is a great goalie with a successful future in store. hopefully he had a chance to shine in this series.

Ya, I've always liked Fleury, super fast reflexes, playing a better positioning now, when he first came into the league he was pretty erratic.

If the last game of the regular season is any indication, the Rangers are going to have their hands full with the Pens but both teams are very close. The first game confirmed my suspicions, this one might go seven. The Red Wings are good but they aren't that much better than the Avs. Theodore was sick in the first game and he has been playing very well. Interestingly enough both Fleury for the Pens and Theodore for the Avs have been squaring up and not getting out of position much. For some reason they remind me of Aubin, only they fixed their respective games and their teams know how to play a modicum of defence, not like that team with the Acer on the jersey. Game has just started with Avs and Wings. I don't recall if Forsberg is active. HABS and Flyers go tonight at the Bell Centre, should be crazy, how will Montreal survive if the Les Glorieux win again.

Those Avs are kinky I tell ya, they like a good spanking!!

Well in the Leafs case,its always NEXT YEAR!!! One usually hears that by early October!!

They don't hear that by October, but maybe January but they have many runs to the wire. But yes your right it is "Next year". I swear if they make it and I am here I will fly home even if it is just to sit in a bar in TO since not a lot a people know hockey here.

Don't listen to flames9, he's a secret Leafs' fan but just can't admit that they broke his heart again this year. The Leafs wander about aimlessly losing games they should have easily one until about February and then they suddenly get the idea that maybe they can make the playoffs. They are pretty tough down the backstretch but by then they are too far behind to catch up. Once in the playoffs they are always tough but their defence is suspect (and has been for a long time) and only offensive firepower and a hot goalie save them from an early exit. The HABS last night were making the same sorts of mistakes that characterizes the way the Leafs play all too often. Sloppy passes, poor backchecking by the forwards, too many loose rebounds and the inability to storm the net. Make no mistake, Biron and Briere weren't playing like they were Flyers but like they did when they were with the Sabres, who have owned the Leafs almost from the beginning. I don't expect the HABS to make the same mistakes twice. They are not the Leafs.

Well mumsie your right on the Habs not being the Leafs, at least the Habs did it. Although they need to pick up the pace and git-r-done and finish off them pesky Flyers. Your also right on the Leafs friggin around and then rallying (too late) in the season when they finally get their s**t together. I am hoping the Habs can pick it back up and rid the playoffs of the Flyers. They would be doing better with my motivation (Dougie)

Unless the HABS quit playing like the Leafs, the Flyers will probably be playing the Pens for a shot at the cup. The Flyers have NO business being in the position they are. Biron is a good goalie but he looks unbeatable when he has no traffic in front of him. C'mon HABS you're much better than that!
