Doing DCF in Bogota, Colombia for spouse. I-130 says to make check payable INS and apparantly can use personal check. (I was given the form at the Embassy) It still has the old fees on it. The new fees are $355, but how do I make payment and to whom ? Gracias Amigos and Amigas unsure.gif

Department of Homeland Security

I suggest you download the current I-130. Other parts of the instructions have also changed.

I had made out my I129f petition check to INS and it was accepted without any problem - the other two checks were made out to Homeland. Yes, I hadn't thought too much about reading the instructions on who to make the check out to and just wrote US Immigration Services instead of Homeland. Good Luck
