Every petition gets document verification now. Every single case. You will all have it done. It is a new procedure to stop all the fake NSO documents they were receiving. They will take the NSO documents you gave them and match what is in the NSO database. You need to pay the document verification fee at metrobank 4 weeks before your interview to not have any delays. Also call delbros one week later to make sure they notified the embassy you paid it and they can start, alot fo times Delbros forgets to notify the embassy you have paid it. your visa will be delayed until they do the verification.

Yes i agree with this..

I have personal experience from 2 K1 visa applicants who did not pay the doc ver fee but were easily issued visas. They didn't pay the doc ver fee before the interview date. After the consul granted the visa, he didnt inform them that they need to pay the doc ver fee. They were still given their visas. These friends of mine are very much single, never been married and have no problems with their names in NSO. I guess that gives them an advantage. BUT I would still suggest that you pay the doc ver fee as this has been stated in the newly-released PACKET 4 that I downloaded. Better safe than sorry.

I have a question about this,
if you do not give them the documents until you have the interview, how can they verify them before it?
You need to bring your own NSO-certified copy of your BC and CENOMAR. The USEM will verify these versus the original docs on file at the NSO.
