Alot is being discussed about Delbros etc. One VJer in limbo right now had stated that he thought the process was random as far as who's docs are verified and who's are not. We paid our fee back in January and just now found out that the embassy has not even sent out the docs yet via a text message. My fiance had been texting Delbros several times this past month without a reply but finally they responded with this news. Maybe Ed can respond to this subject since he has been looking into this for several weeks now. Again, my ? is do they verify everyone's docs? Thanks, Joe

I didn't even get a text from delbros before for verification, my visa just showed up in the house 7 days after my interview.

Nobody really knows for sure... My best guess is if the applicant has some problems like discrepancies with the NSO issued documents, they do the document verification. I may be wrong though... whistling.gif

Every petition gets document verification now. Every single case. You will all have it done. It is a new procedure to stop all the fake NSO documents they were receiving. They will take the NSO documents you gave them and match what is in the NSO database. You need to pay the document verification fee at metrobank 4 weeks before your interview to not have any delays. Also call delbros one week later to make sure they notified the embassy you paid it and they can start, alot fo times Delbros forgets to notify the embassy you have paid it. your visa will be delayed until they do the verification.

I have a question about this,
if you do not give them the documents until you have the interview, how can they verify them before it?

I have personal experience from 2 K1 visa applicants who did not pay the doc ver fee but were easily issued visas. They didn't pay the doc ver fee before the interview date. After the consul granted the visa, he didnt inform them that they need to pay the doc ver fee. They were still given their visas. These friends of mine are very much single, never been married and have no problems with their names in NSO. I guess that gives them an advantage. BUT I would still suggest that you pay the doc ver fee as this has been stated in the newly-released PACKET 4 that I downloaded. Better safe than sorry.

You need to bring your own NSO-certified copy of your BC and CENOMAR. The USEM will verify these versus the original docs on file at the NSO.

we don't need CENOMAR since we are K3 and already married?
