thanks to everyone who prayed for me. i have a good news and a bad news. i got the pink slip ( the pink slip is the slip wherein u will ask to pay for visa delivery right?) and the bad news is almost all the girls i was with earlier had the same problem, "THE DOCUMENT VERIFICATION". DO U THINK IM OK WHEN THE CONSUL SAID AS SOON AS WE GET THE DOCUMENT VERIFICATION FROM NSO THEN WE WILL RELEASE YOUR VISA" how does it sound to u?
my fiance is very worried to what the consul meant about that. can u pls help me enlighten the spirit of my fiance? he was too excited and got disappointed aswell becoz he wanted to book me a flight already and be with him asap. ive talked to 4 or 5 filipinas and we are all in the same shoes but those who were with their USC fiance were allowed for visa pick up or their visas will be delivered within a week.

and by the way, i dont think the cenomar is really important coz they didnt ask it from me and when i voluntarily told them that i want to submit it, the pre-screener said, its ok coz we r going to get your cenomar from the nso. grrrrrrrrr what a waste of time to pay a month before the interview. and when i called up delbros about it, ROBBIE said, the EBI or the transmittal they are waiting from the USEM (its the request for document verification from the USEM to the NSO), they just got hold of mine last monday, and becoz they only process those every mondays then mine would start by monday only. and when i paid for the visa delivery at the USEM, the staff said it will take from a week to a month, including the time the NSO verifies my cenomar to the time the USEM issues my visa to the time they will deliver the visa to me.

i really hope someone can crack down this document verification thing. or might aswell ask your USC fiance to be with u at the interview so u wont need to experience this.

and to my RICHARD, honey, one month more to wait isnt bad, we have waited for how many months already and i can hold on much longer for another month if it would mean being with u forever. anyway our wedding is set on may 24, hehehehe its only april 4 here, i still have 50 days hehehehe i will still make it to our wedding. diba?? i know u miss me but can u imagine how much ive been missing u? love u baby ko. im coming home but ill just be late for few days hehehehe love uuuuuuu

Your signature says you have paid delbros doc verification fee march 5, that's almost 1month ago.. how can USEM and delbros or NSO be soooo incompetent ... applicants pay in advance to avoid delay and yet it seems not make any big difference at all. HAYY

Congrats!! Sorry to hear that it sounds like you got caught up in the whole Document Verification mess. It's a good sign though that there were no other requests for missing info. So now, if the embassy will just get on the ball and do their job (why oh why they dont do it BEFORE the interviews for so many people is a reall sin!) - You will soon have your visa in Hand!!!! Congrats on the approval. Look at the possible delay as a chance to do those things you can't do here, go to Jollibee or King Chow or Greenwich. Ride the jeepneys or Trikes. Go to karaoke with your friends. I pray that the delay is quite short.

Congrats!!! Don't over-analyze the consul..he probably just meant that they will wait for an A-OK from delbros then they will release your visa. Delbros might already have your results, they just probably waiting for the Embassy to call them to forward your result.

thanks ryan, youre totally correct. i still have enough time to have fun with my friends, shop at bargain stores hahahahaha and all in pesos. im gonna have a hard time converting dollars to pesos when im there, as my ricahrd said, ill surely have a bad headache with prices there.

Hi, we paid our document verification fee on Feb 4, it was transmitted to the embassy on Feb 11th ( we called to verify it with delbros) and we had our interview March 11th. 4 weeks later. We got our visa 3 days after interview. no delays from document verification.


You paid your fee March 8 and had your interview April 8th. The embassy probably didnt receive notice from Delbros until March 15th or so, so you still have a week to go. It is taking 4 weeks to complete the document verification. 6 to 8 weeks if you pay the fee at interview.

you will get your visa very soon since 3 weeks had already gone by. It just wasnt enough time to get you your approval and issuance of your visa on your interview day.


everyone should pay the document visa fee 4 weeks before interview if you want no delays. And follow up with Delbros a week after payig it to verify they have notified the embassy. Sometimes Delbos forgets to notify the embassy and its 4 weeks from when the embassy gets notificcation.

thanks chris but u know what i did after paying delbros at metrobank last march 5? i sent them a text march 6 and same day i got the confirmation text from them that they got my payment and same day i called them to confirm my payment, same day i sent delbros and USEM a fax of my metrobank receipt with all the infos. grrrrrrrrrr i did everything, i paid exactly a month before my interview. actually im not in a hurry yet coz my tentative flight is may 10 coz i need to do alot of things here before i can be with my honey, but i just feel bad becoz after exerting so much effort about this document verification to avoid delays, what did i get? nothing worked. *crying*

Ohhhhh my godddd..... mine is almost same but you pay your documents verification 1 month before your interview and seems like you still get delayed how much more me i just pay doc. verification on the day of my interview my god... how long it may takes... i have no idea on this i don't want my hubby get another stressed again coz of this..

hey sis dont worry, everything will turn out ok, atleast we didnt hear the word "deny" right? all we have to do is wait. whether we get the visa 3- 5 days or 30 days, our roads will still lead us to our husbands' loving arms. just keep on telling him to hold on tighter and make him feel that u love him very much in all the ways u can think of. one more thing, dont show him that youre so worried about our situation coz that will make him more stressed hehehe its how my relationship with my honey is, if he isnt cool then i am, if he is worried then i give him assurance, if he gets disappointed then i give him words of encouragement, now if your hubby is kinda stressed then cheer him up. thats how wives should be, to be the opposite of our husbands' bad mood. *wink*
keep on praying, even in this kind of situation wherein we have to wait, never forget to still thank God, for He will be honored then He gives reward. Prayers can move mountains, who knows u might have your visa ahead of me even if i paid earlier than u did, right? its not in our hands, if it's God's will then thy shall be done. let's not worry coz worrying is an intrusions of God's providence. if we pray we also have to believe.

ohhh so nice of you!! yah i always do what you said i never let him see me worried been trying to hide the worries i have right now to him, of course i always believe and pray to god that hope one day delbros will deliver my visa. it's just that i can't hide to myself not to worry this things i don't want either to get worried coz that can make me more stressed , for now i keep praying to god and believing him and asking him that everything will be ok..

P.S. MAYBE SOMEONE SHOULD START A THREAD CONTAINING A LIST OF APPLICANTS WHO ARE STUCKED IN AR DUE TO DOC. VERIFICATION? THAT WAY, WE CAN SEE A PATTERN AND A TIMELINE... Just a suggestion.

When i said followup, i meant a week after paying, not the day you got text from Delbros verifying payment.

We paid on Feb 4, we got text from Delbros that had got our payment on Feb 5.

On Feb 11 one week later we called Delbros and verified they had notified the embassy we had paid. they notified the embassy on Feb 11. We had confirmation they had done it.

It appears you paid metrobank, and got the text from Delbros, and you called them the same day, but you didnt follow up a week later to see if they had notified the embassy. In your case it appears they did not notify them until your interview. Delbros is not the greatest on notifying the embassy. You have to check up on them.

how about my case i pay document verification the day on my interview before i leave the embassy, do i need to call the delbros to follow up? i been texting delbros this week but suddenly they just replied same say's not released yet to delbros still processing at the embassy..

Even you, should make follow-ups with Delbros because as long as they haven't coordinated it with USEM, your visa will be delayed.

it seems to me even if you do everything right there is no guarantee that you will avoid the NSO blackhole. We did all the early stuff that was suggested here. And the embassy did submit a request before the interview. Then again after the interview was completed, and we still wait. I've spoken with another Interviewee and she mentioned to me that it was the same counsellor that had said the same thing about documentation verification. She mentioned that everyone that she spoke that had this counsellor has had thier visa put on hold due to NSO verification

im with the same boat as yours..the good thing is they allowed me to have a visa pick up..paid my visa pick up feb 12...hope it will not take long coz ill be leaving on april 24.... let keep praying for each other....

hi edp333. i just wanna ask when was the last time u made a follow-up with delbros? youre under AR for 8 weeks now since your feb 6 interview. there could be something wrong with one of your documents that they need to verify. like what ive heard from somewhere that someone gave a fake cenomar, the girl's previous marriage was said to be annuled. for 8 weeks just for document verification? wow, its very disappointing...there could be something wrong with a certain documents to be verified. your experience gives people here the knowledge on what to do best so as not to end up nin the same situation and we thank u for that, but on the other hand, others who are currently under AR are somehow getting scared and worried. so i hope u could post here the new updates on your situation like when was the last time u called delbros or the USEM and what were their answers and what have u been doing and who u have been calling.

ive noticed too that your on k3 and others on the same situation like you are on cr1. so do u think k1 applicants under AR is no difference?
