You can update my info...my fella got Packet 3 on July 25, returned it August 4.

They were dumb-dumbs and didn't include the medical info with Packet 3, so he hasn't made his appointment yet. They got back to him pretty quickly by email though, with the info in pdf format. I felt so bad because I first directed him to the info line that you have to pay 1.20 for just to talk to a noob, AND they gave him the wrong information. *headdesk*

Now it's time to cross our fingers and hope the interview isn't scheduled during my October business trip.

Found out today that my petition has been through NVC and is now on its way to london. As I am trying to get my interview before my sons birthday I was wondering if there is anything that I need to have ready so that I can send back packet 3 as soon as it arrives.

I have already filled for my police report and that should be here soon. Also has anyone managed to get there GP to give them any missing jabs.

My GP gave me all my missing shots and free of charge...we missed one of my sons, so when we went for our medical i had to pay 35 pounds for one shot for him...so its a good idea to make sure that you and your son have them all before your medical.
You could download the forms that you will get in packet 3 and fill them in to save you time...good luck

make your you have the affidavit of support from you american half and all the document originals you will need to take to the interview - the checklists asks for all that although some people send the checklist in anyways without actually having the american half's docs in hand - i didnt want to take the risk so I am waiting.

Try and get all your jabs at your own GP as it is expensive at the actual medical. It takes 40 das for the police record to get to you:)

Congratulations!!!! You guys have the 30 minute delay as well?

I'll be watching this board closely for those of you have returned Packet 3 already.
I am concerned, cuz I want to return our Packet 3 as soon as possible, but we only applied for our police record one week ago. Its hard to judge how fast they will schedule K1 interviews now after the lapse in NOA2 being transfered the last few months. Everything after the NOA2 for us so far has been flying along at speeds I didnt expect, and which seemed to take longer in the past...(ie...2 days for NVC to get AND send to conuslate after NOA2....Packet 3 arrived in 10 days after NOA2)...

...makes me really excited, but again...concerned abou this police report not showing up in time if I respond too quickly with the checklist signed...

...any thoughts?

Yes, Stephen said he didn't get to enter the embassy until 11:00, although his appt. was for 10:30.
After he called(and woke me up--it was 5am here in California) I ordered our wedding invitations. There is so much to do now that we are done waiting!

Just got off the phone with the boy, bit of chaos at the embassy which I'll try to report on once he gets home tonight and I get the whole story.... but he's been approved!!!



Well, not that they made a big deal of it from what it sounds, he wasn't even entirely sure he'd been approved. The guy just said "have fun on your trip, good luck with your marriage etc" and the lady that took the fingerprints said once they clear he'll get his passport back... but I'm assuming this means he's approved. They didn't give any indication he wasn't!

Which means, a year and a couple weeks after we started this whole thing, and after not seeing him for nearly a year.... I finally get to see my baby!!

And a big congrats to the other approvals this week!!!!!!!!!
