george and aaiz
just wanted to ask if the releasing of passport (renewal) is fast.. will you still fall in line like what you did during application or its more easy?

the renewed passport is scheduled for release on the 8th in the afternoon, they did not put any specific time in the receipt, they just wrote "8 April pm"
we will pick it up on the 8th around 12 noon time.. do u think that's a good time or should we pick it up earlier? is there a tremendous line for receiving?

thank you very much for replies blush.gif

it always depends on the place whether its busy or not. but when they said its april 8 pm, then its the date and time you'll going to get it... they will base it on the receipt and if you show up earlier than that, you might be ask to return on the said date... when i got my passport it says on my afternoon receipt also. so i went there around 12 and line-up, by one pm, they started releasing the passport and i got it w/in an hr or so... as for renewals, they're like the same as getting a new one i believe. good luck!!!

oh i have no idea what window to be honest in the DFA manila lol blush.gif
i got mine in CDO and the way they design it was, i think theres 7 windows lined up and windows 1-3 are for giving all the requirements and such, then there's window 4 for payments and the last window 7 is for the releasing... but i bet manila is bigger than the cdo office so probably different, yet similar in ways... good luck!

Im not sure what gate number it is but you go thru the back area...where you entered when you first filed your renewal...ask the guards there...they'll assist you and tell you where to go...it inside with airconditioning with chairs...windows with letters posted to it...sit in front of the window where the first letter of your surname is posted...hope this helps...smile.gif
