hello smile.gif does anyone know what tax form I have to file from overseas as a USC? Im doing DCF for my wife in Sydney and they need my tax return from this year but I dont know which form to file. I didnt work in the states at all last year, but I did work in Australia for part of 2007 so they want me to show them a tax return. I am not exempt from filing because I made too much but I also was wondering if I'm exempt for any other reason. Anyone know about this tax stuff? tongue.gif (IRS website is very confusing) wacko.gif

I belive you would use the regular 1040. You won't have to pay taxes on income up to about $85,000, but you still have to file.
