We are going back to Jamaica with some of the rebate money! We need a vacation badly and we still have not had an official honeymoon since marrying two years ago. Half will be used on the trip, the other half will go into our savings account.

The money is going to be parked in a high interest savings account for a while. There is a good possibility that we will use it towards a trip home in Canada at Christmas, and/or put towards paying off some of my student loan. We don't plan on buying more stuff with it, we're in the middle of de-cluttering our house as it is and we don't need to bring in more junk!

We're saving it to buy a second car later this year and to stress less about how to pay for the vacation we're taking in October.

We will probably put it in the bank account and then never see it again. I have no idea how much we're getting. Probably the minimum.

Thank you Sparkofcreation and Gooden.
I remember when the first rebate stimulus took place around 2001-2002, there was no option of electronic deposit and it took months before I got my check. Turns out it was delivered to the wrong address and my neighbors took the liberty of opening my mail

! No telling how long they had it before bringing it to me. I honestly belive they were trying to figure out how to cash it without getting caught or in trouble.

I'm using it to pay for my kids to go to summer camp. While they're at camp, we'll go to the UK for a week. We were going to try to have the kids to to the UK too, but the price of tickets is absurd! Camp is wayyyy cheaper and they love going, so I think its a win-win situation!

We are saving ours luckily my mother has 4 natural gas wells on her property and she is deeding the land to all the children before she dies. She has plenty of money so she thought it would be nice for us to get something now instead of waiting until she dies. We wanted to make sure we take advantage of the inheritance laws now before they change in a few years. Thanks mom!
