I sent my I-751 application (removal of condition) on 02-25-2008 to the Texas Service Center where they received it on 02-29-2008. On 03-08-2008 my account showed that the checks have been cashed in. But I haven't heard anything back from USCIS since then.
The checks have a handwritten number on the back, starting with SRC and then a ten digits number. I assumed that would be my case number but when I attempted to add it to my online portfolio at USCIS in order to track the process, the system told me that it can't find such a number, even now ... almost a month later. Also, the number on the check that paid for the I-751 application is slightly different than the number on the check for the biometrics (the seventh number differs).
My conditional green card expires on 04-28-2008 and I'm getting nervous about not receiving any word from TSX or any other service center.
Does anyone have any advice or similiar experiences? I know that the TSX in particular is known for not being the fastest (and by saying that, I'm making an understatement), but my employer knows that my green card is about to expire this month and will request proof of extension.

Most of us that filed at TSC in your timeframe are in the same situation - go have a read at the thread you posted your timeline to - you'll get some ideas and maybe even some comfort.

It does work on the website and I am now able to track my file.
You will probably want to do several things: first, obtain a copy of the cheques showing both sides; second, call the Information number and use the selection for 'filed a petition, haven't received a receipt" - when the recorded message starts, press 1 and you will get transferred to a person. Explain your situation to that person and if they don't offer to transfer you to an immigration officer, ask to have that done. The officer can give you your biometrics number. With these two items in hand, and you can probably do it on the same phone call - make an infopass appointment at your local USCIS office. Bring these items along with your passport, your green card, and when you register at the USCIS site, you can also print out the message that is there, to the infopass appointment and have them put the I-551 stamp in your passport. It will revalidate your status for a year and that will satisfy your employer.
