I just wanted to let you know that my Fiance moved house couple months ago, we had his parents house down for where we would live when we filed, and he called and let them (VSC) know we would both be staying in a different address and they changed it and sent us an email telling him it was changed. Going with the same story is probably easier, I am sure she could update them at her interview though!.

Cool, Yeah maybe i could just include a letter for her to submit during the interview that I have moved out of my parrents house or something. hopefully that will not cause any problems

jonabis... i'm not sure about the address. I don't think the new home will matter so much as far as the interview..etc...as nothing is sent anyway. You'll want to note it on the AOS papers once your love is here and you are married. Anything can happen before closing. At least with your parents house, you know you'll get what you need. Congratulations on your new home btw. Now just need that approval!

PiP... I don't know what to tell you about your mistake. I wouldn't call or anything as I doubt it would do you any good but just wait and hope you don't receive an RFE.

Sorry to read that so many of you are fighting with your SO. So not what any of us need right now. We're definitely all living with high emotions and feeling it more and more every day, i'm sure. It is a difficult process and so hard not being able to just wrap around each other when times are tough but it's so important not to take it out on each other. Keep reminding yourself of where those emotions are coming from ...and know that there is light at the end of our long tunnel! We're getting there folks!

PrettynPink, I would not be overly concerned about the mistake. If they let it slide great, if not and you get an RFE, then you at least know that you will be done in 30 days, (IIRC), after you submit correct paperwork.

Well fiance called and were able to talk to a lady at USCIS telling us that we just wait and pray that the one handling our case wont notice it and if they do they will only request RFE which i hope we wont get..hehehe..Still keeping my glass half full like most people here..

Not much we can do but wait and pray...Needless to say that getting depressed wont do any good at ALL...I had my share of few hours of disappointment upon learning about the mistake but I got over with it after my much needed stress relieving day at the beauty salon....LOL...hehehe

Good for you! Every girl should feel pretty and pampered! It's good for the soul. It's funny, even though we looked over our forms no less than 50 times i'm still concerned something is wrong sometimes. Someone will mention an RFE here and i'll need to go check and make sure we didn't make the same mistake. It's easy to overthink everything and make mistakes even when you're so concerned with getting it right. Overthinking and overanalyzing everything I suppose. It's enough to make you go mad really! I'm glad you're feeling at ease about the mistake. Hopefully you have an adjuticator who browses right over it and assumes you made a simple error. Hopefully we have that same adjuticator! Quite likely considering our touches are so close.

We have the Same timeline yet no approval .. i'm sure mine was close to the bottom of the pile.. hope my approval comes soon... i'm getting discourage yet anxious... Hang in there everyone! We need each other.. have a blessed day

MrsGomes - I can't remember off the top of my head which office Lu went to for the medical but they were very nice there. The woman at the desk even rushed his paperwork for him so he didnt have to make the trip out to BH twice (he lives a 5 hour bus ride away in coronel fabriciano) I will ask Lu when I talk to him tonight and get back to you!

Brian - that is so weird to think that chances are our packets were sitting in the same box gathering dust together! so glad our turn has finally come!!

Acobnamia - Looks like you were in the same box after all!! congrats on your approval!!!

Hi all!!

Gareth is here finally! Customs was a pain, but he got through it ok. I was afraid that would happen...just to make me panic! But it's cool now. Then there was bad weather and his flight was delayed about three hours. Then this morning I found out the weather wasn't the only reason. There was a bomb threat on one of the planes in the airline he was flying with! Not his but still...I'm so glad I didn't know that while I was waiting at the airport. Beyond panicked is what I would have been!

But all is well now...he's still sleeping after the long and treacherous flight. He's here for a month and we can await the approval together. He's a bit nervous though because he's meeting a lot of family this time. He'll be ok though.

Hope to see some approvals soon!!

When do you get the results Suzy? I can't wait to get my college results !

My professor will probably post the grades by tomorrow. It's not such a big class. Let's hope that's the case so I don't worry the whole weekend.

john.. one of the latest messages from the uscis director stated they are working extra hours as well as weekends so perhaps that's it. I do hope it brings good news your way soon!!!

Thanks Dale, I felt like I needed something to keep me strong today. That did it! Our number is EAC08143... so not too far off! It's getting harder each day, isn't it? I can't imagine having lost time due to someone else's incompetence on top of it. It is what it is I suppose and I guess we just keep our eyes on the prize!

He is referring to the uscis database, tracking with EAC numbers around his own.

Ours is EAC08126... Seems as we have been left by the wayside. No new touches since 6/17 either. I am afraid they are doing checks on me, since my gov't job might make them suspicious in their eyes. I really don't understand that... A person like me, in her late forties, with a steady income and all, should be a guarantee of very real intentions, and not someone in for a GC scam. However, from Igor's list it seems there are other late March filers left behind. I just hope to be able to make it to the US before Xmas.. And a whole year of my life will be gone, thanks to them.

Raffaella, I don't think anybody's forgotten you. Each adjuticator has a box of cases they work with. Some work faster than others. You could be under a bit more scrutiny due to your job but I doubt that would hold you back too long. It's coming!
