Welcome to the April thread scary razor blade picture lurker.

Hello Nic & Gaye... always a pleasure to see you ladies dropping in.

Yes Gaye, it does appear that csc is catching up and vsc is slowing down. Of course this is a good thing and really only fair...but they could have waited until May!
Graham... appreciate the stats as always, although it would be nice to see those march filers clear out of vsc already! Last Wednesday was a big day for Vermont so hopefully today will be as well! Glad your new job seems to be going well. How is megan feeling? Did you get to hear the heartbeat? i'll be pm'ing you with regards to the ftp this morning. Get back to me when you can.

We haven´t been touched since the 21st!
Hey, I was wondering... My parents need to renew their tourist visa. The closer american embassy here is in Recife, they´ll have to fly there, but they´ll be there next month for work, so maybe they can just go to the embassy. But I don´t know how the process will be going by then, what should they say on the forms? They want a tourist visa to go for vacation or to visit their daughter, who´s not even there yet? Do you guys think it´ll be a problem?

I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for anything coming through from you Kim. By the way I praised you on here earlier but no idea if it did anything!!!!!! Really enjoying the job, all the girls that work behind the bar are hilarious and getting along with them all. Got my first weekend shifts coming up this weekend. I certainly have more respect now for bar staff in these city centre bars as I am absolutely exhausted after only working 3 days!!!! Megan is doing great, I keep telling her to come on and leave a reply for you guys but obviously it's just me that's here!! We never got to hear the heartbeat as she wasn't as far along as we thought she was. She is just 12 weeks 4 days pregnant right now, which means the little one was conceived around the day we left Scotland for me to come over for the 3 months on VWP!! Too much information for some people, but we're all friends. How is Russ doing with the Kiwi Fruit? And how are the kids doing?

12 weeks! How exciting! Never TMI for me!

Thanks for the 'praise'.. no idea what it means/does... but thanks!

Russ is done with his kiwi fruit for now and on to building what is really our home when we are in NZ. He'd be a lot happier being here working on our new bathroom but ...sigh... not yet. He's getting a tad antsy now that the time isn't passing as fast as he'd like but he's hanging in there. Although, I think if I say
"soon" one more time his head may very well explode!
The kids are well. Only a couple more weeks left until school is out. I let them stay home yesterday as it was close to 100 and I felt that making them sit in those classrooms in that kind of heat is just child abuse! I did, however, make them work!

It's really amazing how fast the time passes and how quickly they grow. Do be sure to take the time every day to enjoy your new addition as he/she will be grown before you know it.

My kids are 16 and close to 13 now but I still enjoy them immensly!

Welcome aboard HiTech. I noticed your timeline sees you as a Feb. filer because of the date you sent in your original petition. It has you projected as being done back in May.
Not a big deal, but it probably skews the database a little. Lord knows, we have some numbers people on here.

Hi everyone! I believe I am also an April filer! Hope you guys can help control my impatience...i have been checking out load of stuff from this website and found it to be so informative. Keeping my fingers crossed for speedy approvals for all of us, I know how you all feel. I have a question though, hoping some kind person can give me advice on. I filed my petition and stated Belfast as my consulate unaware that they do not take care of these visas. Should I inform USCIS now or wait and see if they are smart enough to adjust my consulate to London? help would be much appreciated...thanks all. Lets the approvals begin.

.. my daughter will be 11 by November and my son will be 9 by september... My daughter don't have problem with display of affection but my son don't like it when i hug and kiss him outside anymore especially when his friends (and his crush) are around.. but he still wraps his arms around my waist when we walk. They are indeed growing up faster than I want them to.

Yes, bittersweet indeed. Part of me wants to see them all grown up and be successful in their chosen path but another part of me wants them to stay as kids forever.

Hey Guys! I have a quick question which we have just noticed. Hoping someone can give us advice. On our NOA1 the address simply says the street address without the house number. Any similar cases?? Ideas?? I hope this isn't going to set us back any, not sure i could handle it...help/advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Good morning April filers!

Well at least one vj approval pushed through yesterday. Let's hope that means hundreds on the outside!
Dave, my noa1 has the house number so i'm not really sure what to tell you. I would assume that since it found you, you should have no worries about it setting you back any. Did you sign up for email notification with uscis? The only other thing you should be expecting from them is your noa2 which you will know about before it comes.

So it's a beautiful day here in MA today.... only one thing could make it better.

Hi April filers ...
Hope your all doing well today.
HiTech you got lucky because you are sort of straddling the March/April line, I personally couldn't dream of a better place to find myself. WINNER!
Graham thanks for the baby stats!! Glad you are enjoying work it helps so much when you are with good people; tell Megan we would love to hear from her too.
Kim are you and Russ going to have another baby eventually!?!?!?!?! YEY!!!! I can't believe you let your kids stay off because it was hot ... Being from England I struggle to believe there is such a temperature as 100 anyway but I know for a fact that my mum would have still made me sit, dehydrating in class all day. Your the best mom EVER! Lol
Dave if you call the USCIS customer service number they will be able to tell you if that’s right, I'm assuming it was delivered to your house with a number right? I haven't seen our NOA1 yet so I'm not sure what it actually said. I'm sure when Kim and Brian get there butts online they will be able to give you the low down.
Ana lovely are you feeling a bit better? Hope so!

Still no touches since April 22.... I know there are other people in the same situation, but I still can't help feeling a bit put out. However, even though I have never seen myself as a very patient person before, I think I've been surprising myself at how well I'm dealing with this. Pity that I can't say the same about Michael... I know he's in pain, all alone there in the US, with all his bad memories to keep him company, and feeling so very lonely for me. Hopefully it won't be too long now...

It is a compilation of VJ timeline data. It shows the last twenty persons to receive an NOA2 for a K1 or K3 from Vermont or Cali. It also shows a chronological list of those still waiting, and the stats page gives you a weekly breakdown of how CSC and Vermont are doing.
Worthwhile to look at. I view it a couple times a week. Here is a link for it :

Quick update before I go to work on the March filers using Igor's list.......
88 filers, 60 with NOA2 (68%) and 28 waiting.
I really hope things pick up soon as it has slowed to a snail's pace and I know that I'm getting really frustrated so most other folks probably are too?
KimandRuss
Jun 13 2008, 06:48 AM
Good morning friends..
Yes Graham, getting a tad frustrated with the wait. Hell, I was fed up with it years before we ever even filed!

It's not easy but
it is what it is and being upset about it isn't going to change a thing. The one thing we do have control over is our attitude. We all HAVE to remember that we are all really in the home stretch now and that even though the process is taking more time than it did just a few months ago.. it's still taking less time than it did a few months before that...and still less than CSC. Perspective! This will not be the hardest thing you ever do.
I do find myself checking email more often looking for that 'CRIS' in the from column....and watching the vj timelines even more than I used to. I suppose that's a sign that it's getting close! It probably doesn't help that I have to be on the computer all day... and sometimes night too.
We try to stay positive by dreaming of the day he comes back home to me. That feeling of knowing he will never have to leave my side again. Even now I have to catch my breath at the mere thought of it. It's coming... and that's what keeps me going.

It is nice to be appreciated in the moment. So many great psychics are never fully appreciated in their own lifetime.
For my encore, I predict that more approvals will follow. However, the completion schedule will be sporadic with no discernible pattern other than the fact that logic will give way to complete randomness.
