If not, perhaps I can offer you a job?

I don't care what anybody says, it's great to have definitive proof that things are happening. Thanks again! btw... did you mention if you guys had any baby names picked out??
I am a little bit but I'm pretty much on the computer all the time as I use it for sharing the connection for Xbox Live and play that all day while Megan is at work. Her grandparents never want any help so there isn't much else to do really!!!
We have picked out Kendall or Madison for girl's names and so far we like Braedon and Cameron for boy's names. Although we're not 100% sure although we both don't want to find out what sex the baby is, it really is life's only great surprise. Well it was still we started dealing with USCIS!!!

Its nice to know you are a drinker Kim. We had a little chat about this over on the March thread and I get so disappointed with the drinking standards in the US. I'm preempting that it will be a big contributing factor to my home sickness. LOL I am so going to miss a good binge drink. How British am I?!? Unashamedly so.

Bex... not only am I a drinker... i'm a beer and tequila (don julio

Very good family friends own a couple of great pubs in town and my mom works there now for fun (she retired in her early 50's) so about once or twice a week we hang out there with a large group of really great people. It's great fun! I think the standards vary greatly here in U.S. depending on where you are ... so if you're needing a sense of home cmon up to Boston and we'll hook ya up!
Thanks for the well wishes Alex!

I even found some chips too so having those to celebrate as well!!!!!!
For Bex, we are going to a bar called Piper's Pub in Pittsburgh on Saturday. They sell pretty much all English and Scottish beers. So it will be a few Strongbows for me that day!! Hopefully I can talk Megan into going up there for 12 noon to watch the Heineken Cup Final, not sure she'll be up for that though.

I'll see what she says Kim, I'm pretty sure she would be fine with that!! Hopefully Detroit don't win at all this week in the NBA and the NHL.
I have a little bit of news too, I might be leaving this wonderful country to go back and some some hard graft at home. Got the offer of a job today and depending on pay and conditions I might be heading back sooner rather than later. Ok make that the job starts on Monday of this coming week!!!

Oh wow MONDAY?!?!? Good Luck Graham.
Kim I am a beer girl too. Ever since I was ... lol i was going to say young but seeing as I am only 21 that doesn't really work. I have always been able to drink a lot of beer without it effecting me very much - definitely my dads daughter. I'm only 5ft and when I go out the guys want to buy me coolers and wine spritzers - watch their jaws hit the ground when I'm on my 8th pint and sober as a policeman. I've lost a lot of weight recently and that has hindered my drinking capabilities some what but I can still give Alan a run for his money. We will have definitely have to make the trip up there to visit you Kim, we can leave the men at home and go and have a proper "session."

@ ever since you were young! Yes! It does sound like we should get together sometime! I'm 5'8.5" but also have a very high tolerance...hence the tequila!

I lost about 200 pounds 10 years ago (weight watchers

)and it effected me as well but I seem to have ....errr adjusted now. NC isn't 'that' far away...driven it many times.

Graham! How do you feel about that??? How does Megan feel? Is it a contract job? Do they know you'll be leaving in a couple months? ...yes, i'm nosey!

It's acontract job for 4-8 weeks working up the north of Scotland. She seems ok about it right now but we are meant to be having a Doctor's appointment on June 2nd. But I won't hear back from them now until tomorrow, dumbass time difference!!! They don't know about the Visa thing I only put on my Resume that I'd been travelling for the last 3 months with my fiancee. Well I did make 2 flights to get here and have been here for 3 months, I just never told them that she lives in the USA!!!

I'm pretty happy with the idea as I would be able to get some more money together for when the whipper snapper comes along. We're going to talk tonight about it and see how she feels about it.

Hi guys!!!! Quick update on the job situation.
Got the contract emailed through this morning. £13.08 an hour for at least 50 hours a week. Whick works out to over £500 a week after the lovely UK Government have got their hands on it. They are offering 4-8 weeks just now with more after if I want it, so they can keep them coming till I get my medical and interview!! So I'm going for a meeting with guy on Monday and flying up to start the job on Tuesday at 7am. So I've decided to fly out of here on Sunday so I get in to Glasgow on Monday morning and I'm just going to go right for the meeting with the agency. Couldn't of worked out any better.
Fingers crossed for all the filers at Vermont, we are thinking of you all.
And Kim, well done the Celtics, at least I'll still be here to see the Pens take on the Red Wings on Saturday night. Oh and still go for proper beer on Saturday during the day!!!!
