I'm still stress, I don't know what to do, if to call the Embassy or what? Also, I received at home two letters from NVC stating that they send my application and to wait for the interview or something like that. Both are the exact same, just that one was dated the 28th ant the 29.. I wonder why ?

What should I do now? Please any advise will help.

Sandra, you need to call the NVC... You need to call NVC 603-334-0700, 1, 5 to talk to someone and they can tell you if your package has arrived and if/when they sent it out to the Embassy. It usualy takes just a couple of days to get to the NVC and it's often sent out pretty quickly. After you know it's there you can track it to the Embassy using DHL. It wont state it's 'yours' but it will state a shipment to Uruguay. Here's a quote from Nich explaining how...

Thats 83 different countries in 2 days, with multiple petitions in many boxes! It kinda gives you an idea that many more petitions are being processed than just the timelines we stare at here on VJ.

Thank you for the advice

I actually did that last friday and I been tracking the package since then. I know that it got to the embassy yesterday noon. What I was referring was if I should call now the embassy and see how long it will take or what do I need to know...
I did all this with a lawyer, which his reputation is excelent. I been calling his assitant to gather more information, but nothing. The last time we talked, she told me that she will e-mail me some forms that I needed to fill out and mail to my fiance... this was last week

I hope that from this point foward, everything goes fast and nothing goes wrong. I cant really tell anything from the embassy in Uruguay because there isnt much information about it. There arent many cases :S...

Susie an RFE at this point is a bummer, but look on the positive side, people who get RFE's at this point usually get there NOA2's shortly after they send them back!.

Yes, well... I do good work.

I'm super busy with work which helps but i'll admit it's getting a little disheartning waiting for that damn CRIS email... especially when people who filed after you are being approved. Don't get me wrong... nothing but love for you folks and i'm truly happy for you all.

Just makes me wish we had ended up in a faster adjuticator's box! We've already waited years... enough is enough.

I did not like to hear that Ukraine interviews are almost 2 months out, courtesy of Hitech. I am a southern boy and I like heat. Plenty of that here now. Jenni forgot to take the heat and humidity with her to Canada when she left Raleigh. Oh well, time to hook the Mastercraft up, grab a cooler of beer and hit the lake. That usually supresses the heat.

Watch out April, May is going to roll through you like Marines going to tattoo parlors on payday.

Oh, and can you send my EX to PR as well? Would really improve my quality of life.

The number for the NVC is 603-334-0700. Option 1 then option 5. It takes forever to get through but just keep trying and eventually you'll get someone. They need the USCIS case number, your name and DOB and the same for Steven

Well the week has passed and we have yet to be approved..*sigh* It appears CSC is now catching up and approved a couple of April filers today. All good.

VSC, on the other hand, seems to have skipped a box and started approving May filers!

Trying to stay positive here... happy thoughts... dirty video jokes... It's been a pretty stressful week all around... lots of work... Manny's been traded

... too many bills... kids on summer vacation... etc..etc... All I can say is it BETTER be next week! I need some good news...and I'd hate to have to kill anybody at this point in the game...it would really not do this whole immigration thing any good.

Ok, I better go work out and sweat off some of this frustration. Here's hoping for a QUICK WEEKEND!

My ex is not exactly what you'd call a good parent, however he loves the boys a lot. He's just super irresponsible and does nothing to improve his life. It's better off he's in PR, the boys' grandma lives there too so they can go visit her and their dad. I really just don't want his bad ways to rub off on my kids.

My interview date is September 16th, but I´m actually happy about it. It´s so much easier to wait when I know exaclty when and it gives me time to gather all the paperwork and say loong loong goodbyes!

If the weather stays hot, there will be no cold ones left. We went to Lake Wheeler today. Did you see the exit for it off of the Beltline, southside of Raleigh. Just a couple of miles from dowtown. Small lake, but close. Tomorrow will be Jordan Lake for the whole day, 30 minutes weat of Raleigh. Like I said, there might not be any cold ones left. We will have about 5 or 6 boats at a beach starting our own redneck yacht club. By the way, get used to rednecks, we rule the world. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting one of us down here. Glad to have you in the future. You Canucks are cool. I go to Sasketchewan every October duck and goose hunting. You have got some good people up there.

Megan leaves to come here today, YAY!!!!

A quick question for you all though.......She has got the letter of intent, I-134 and things notarised. Do her tax transcripts have to be notarised too? She hasn't received them yet but her mom was going to mail them to us when they come in. Just looking for some advice.
