It´s close it´s close!!! I can´t help thinking about my waiver... They haven´t updated on the system that they´ve even received it and won´t pick up the phone or answer emails, I don´t even know who to ask if that´s normal! Any ideas?

congrats on all the approvals things seem to be moving we got a new touch today so maybe not long it figures i will be pulling out tonight to go to sea again but maybe when i come back in the news will be what we have been waiting on it is always great to see approvals and not to bad to see touches on your own paperwork at the same time good luck and Gods speed to all may we be next but if not us then maybe you at least i am honest on that but seriously i do wish us all luck on the vsc lottery

I hope things start to speed up again, especially since there are no more Holidays until September. And what an awesome Birthday gift. My birthday is in September around the time our estimated approval time is, but I'm hoping by the grace of God that a miracle can happen sooner

My only 'sad face' issue is our approx date for approval is now Aug 17-24...a month ago it was saying July 20-26 :S Oh well, soon enough I guess.

Wow, I went out and came home to find all kinds of excitement happening. Congratulations guys.
I love the weeks that start out with a bang on Monday. Have you noticed that sometimes there's a whole bunch on Monday, then the week sorta fizzles and gets boring. Other weeks, nothing happens and Friday and the weekend several roll through.

I think the movement of dates has to do with new people signing up for timelines and they have dates ahead of you so it sorta pushes yours back. Not in a real sense because they did file before you, but it seems like they're cutting in line or something.

Looking at Igor's list for CSC, there's even four March approvals today. That's amazing that California has already cracked into March.

Still nothing, and getting more and more depressed.... Congratulations to everyone though - at least they have made someone happy! As I wrote in the March thread, I am thinking of asking Michael to cancel our petition and move here if that approval doesn't come soon. I don't want to sound superstitious, but I am so afraid this is not meant to be..... First we lost two months, then we ended up at the bottom of the pile. He's coming here next week anyway, so we'll have the time to think about a Plan B if this K-1 thing is not going to happen.

I'm not sure if anyone has the answer to this question but Luciano and I realized that our lawyer listed his name as Luciano Rangel da Silva instead of Luciano Rangel Fernandes da Silva which is the name on his passport. Of course our lawyer is moving his office this week and may not respond according to the automatic responce email I received so I wanted to know if anyone has had a similar situation? Will Lu will run into a problem when he gets to the interview and has a passport with an extra name on it?? Are they gonna send us back to Vermont to recheck him?? (ahhh noooo!! lol)

You've already received your NOA2 so it's all in the hands of the Consulate now. I've noticed many mistakes like this at this stage and others have only had to call DOS and the USEM to have it corrected. Some have just waited until the interview but i'd call to inform them anyway.

a bit bummed out today when I realized the Australian police check I had done already (lived there a few years) is not sufficient! It needs to include fingerprints for the USA! Didnt even know There I was thinking yay, Ive already got my India+Aus police checks, just got my UK one to do.....Am rushing to try get it all done, and hope it will be here in time for my checklist to be sent to the embassy

The good thing is the UK police certificate you will probably get in a couple of weeks, they are pretty efficient, I am going up to the registry office today for my birth certificate, I have had the same one since I was born and I lost it this year !.

Are you ordering your UK certificate just now to? I was going to do that also, to give it plenty of time to get to me

I called the only place here that does non-criminal fingerprinting and they said they could only fit me in the the 29th...but Im so happy cos I sweet talked/told them my case....and they are seeing me tomorrow!! So fingers crossed, I can mail it all out then and receive the clearance back from Aus before my checklist needs to be sent Thank God for human kindness overcoming evil bureaucracy ...if only i could do the same for my visa

Im waiting on police clearance till I get my NOA2 - I went to the police station here and chatted to them and they said it doesnt take that long, and the stated time of a month is only if your case gets passed to some moron, unlikely! Just make sure you do the new police forms- they JUST came in, and now require 2 pics signed by your GP or someone similar Anything to make it more complex lol- it used to be a one paged form!!
Im not sure what the expiry is like on the police forms- anyone? so thats why Im waiting in case my NOA2 and then the NVC and Embassys take their sweet time in getting everything to me!

Hey April folk!

Glad to see the party is still going in here after that explosive start to the week. Those of you wondering about UK birth/police certificates don't forget you need the LONG birth certificate and the ACPO police certificate. The birth certificate took 3 days from my local registry and the police report about a week and a half from posting the application to receiving the completed certificates. The police certificates are valid for 12 months and I believe you need them for AOS so you might want to think about getting an extra copy for £5.

Katie - Don't worry about the name. Mine name was spelt wrong throughout the whole of the process. I only realised when we got P3 from the USEM, I included a cover letter asking them to change it but they didn't so when I got my interview letter I emailed them and they sent one back almost right away saying that it had been changed for me. No delays, no real problem.
