my greencard extension is going to expire on June 2008 so can i apply for N-400 before expire the extension ??
and one more thing i want to know that i have to apply for INFO pass too ?

Yes to both. If you came on a K-1, you can apply 90 days before your 3 year mark of your PR status (we did). You should also do the InfoPass appointment to get your passport stamped to extend the extension another year (we are next week).

Yes if you meet the time requirement 5 years or 3 years if you are married,
Also , you can do inforpass appintment online, Just give them a call and try to see if your application was sent to California office if they tell no or they don't know yet then make an nfo pass appointment in the phone.
It is better to do it that way then online since you have 2 mts in your extention you can do it online and once you are there they tell you it is too early come back,
So the best thing is call them in the phone check the status, Transferred or not, then make an info pass appointment in the phone and they will tell you when you can do it best so you don't have to come back
