In line 12 on the DS-230, it asks for the beneficiary's occupation. Is UNEMPLOYED ok? I know her income doesn't factor into anything. My income high enough to support us 3 times over, so I'm not worried, but just wondering if her being unemployed right now could be looked down upon for any reason.

Answering "unemployed" should be fine. They really do not care much about the foreign fiance's employment status. Even if she had a job and an income, it would not be taken into consideration for this process.

Yup, unemployed is fine. I did the same for my husband with dates and all.
