skip the day tour! they will bring you to a crocodile farm (i doubt if you havent seen one in the zoo), a prison (they will just bring you to the souvenir shop), and a bakeshop with statues (yah, nice for picture taking but.. you wont go all the way to palawan to see statues right?)
if you're going to puerto princesa, make sure you spend 1 whole day in honda bay, another day for dos palmas (BEST fishfeeding experience in my life!) and to the famous underground river.
weee!!!! oh my goodness! feeding the fishes sounds so fun!

thanks! im excited for the philippine spots tour but im more excited for our wedding ryt now!!!

originally, we plan to have a civil wedding in the US then come back to the philippines for the traditional church wedding because all my family and friends are here. would that be a nice plan???

but im scared that once the civil wedding is done, i'd be so lazy to fix a philippine church wedding esp if im the US already.
actually im considering a crazy vegas civil wedding. i told my fiance i wanna ride a helicopter and get married in the valley of fire. but i dont think he's taking me seriously hehe
anybody here had a vegas wedding? or planning to have one? just thinking of a fun and non-traditional civil wedding.
shes, is it cheaper to buy wedding stuff here in the philippines? goodluck with the wedding preparations! you sound excited

u seem to be the modern fancy type of bride i think

thats one unique smart idea (the choper and vegas wedding) well, watever the type of our weding will be, as long as were gonna have it out of proclaming our Love for our swethearts, everything will be perfect!
about the wedding stuff..yeah, its cheaper here...to top that is the gown, my goodness i check out beautiful gowns in the U.S. (like the ones you can get from a boutique) and it cost alot!!!! but if you'll check the designs...girl! you can find same designs, some are more elegant looking here in the Philippines - ready made or tailored.
ready made - you can check out divisoria, they have alot over there( i havent checked personally but a frend of mine who knows someone who had a wedding in the U.S.,this someone bought her gown here in PI and everybody there were stunned by her gown) - you can also ask to adjust the gown you choose) i heard a P10,000 gown is already at its best though, you can still get elegant gowns for as low as P5,000
tailored - my sister in-law got a very elegant gown tailored for P20,000. it took 3mos before it was done.
about the other stuff like, give aways, hey!u can get P50 per item - also theres alot at divisoria
again my sister-in-law got a white classic, abstract looking bride and groom hugging each other give away for only P60 each..(its modern looking, not the common figurine..)
even the flower arrangement...im even thinking to get it here..(just that one for decorations) but the one il be holding and the brides will be from there cus ofcourse,it shuld be fresh
but the invitations..this one i found out just almost the same price in the U.S. so we'll get it there too..
oh and finally the wedding band!!!!!!!!!!! hey it is best to get it here..why? cus in the U.S. they dont have a 24K gold or white gold..if there is it cost ALOT! my again, sister in law (shes a jeweler) told me that you can get a P5,000 worth wedding band here. P10,000 is thicker.
my fiance, the engagement ring he gave me from a branded jeweler in the states cost $215..so if ul compute,an egagement ring in the U.S. equals the price of a 18K to 24K white gold wedding band (2 rings) here in the P.I.
try to buy some U.S. bridal magazine. u can compare the prizes....
