Ooh yes I sure hope we are all cleared by memorial day too that would rock!!! I think my mans name is unique at least to this area.....

With all the shame...when is the memorial day? blush.gif

Make that two.. i have been hearing of people wanting to get married on memorial day and i don't know when memorial day will be blush.gif

BryantAliona, i'm really really rooting for your approval! USCIS has messed up your file and well, you can still be considered a January filer right coz you sent your 2nd I-129F on the very last hours of December 31st... but wait, you are also an October filer and a December filer. Well, whatever, I will be very very happy to CHEER for you when you finally get your approval! good.gif

smile.gif Thank you!
I erased from my memory the first two set-backs,and i'm trying to be as patient as possible.
Good luck to you as well.

Well, unfortunately there most likely will not be any January CSC filer weddings by memorial day (end of May). We should be able to get most of the January CSC filers approved by this time. Most of us will be looking at July/August weddings. I would love for CSC to prove me wrong.

My fiance and i were planning the wedding to be in july or august, and as long as it's not later, we're fine.
But i wouldn't mind to get this over sooner no0pb.gif

dbears, the platter is sooh cute! i also saw your other stuff in the other website. they're all beautiful. i love the invitation in the bottle. i think deciding to have the k-1 instead of the k-3 is really good for your situation. but i still pray that you can give the philippine wedding that your mom dreams for you... heart.gif

hey i hope everybody will be able to get married on your planned dates. dbears on august 8, sunnybear on sept 27, and those who want a memorial day wedding.. let's pray that everybody's dream wedding will come true. rose.gif

Thank you gabriela. My mama only dreams of seeing one of her daughters wear wedding gown so I will surely give it to her someday soon... I am only praying that my papa will still be alive when that time comes. sad.gif

You will make your papa happy eitherway, but God is allmighty, let's just pray...

LOL yeah I tried on the real one at local wedding boutique and cost close to 500 american dollars which is not a lot really for Americans to spend as my sister spent well over 2,000 but umm yeah a little out of the price range I wanted to spend! Soooo found a knockoff website located in China sent my measurements and had lots of faith and in return got a beautiful knock off of this gown for only 145 american dollars! My daughters was only 45 soo both dresses for under 200 american dollars!!!!!
Here is what my dress mostly looks like.....and I got a little white satin coat to wear over top to hide tattooed arms from the grandparents in some of the pics LOL

Wow sunnybear - that dress is stunning. Ahhhh, could you send me the website you went to? Olga and I have been talking about gowns and what she's looking for. Somthing on the shoulder rather than off the shoulder, but her range of options has not extended beyond the borders of the Ukraine. In her area they don't have bridal boutiques as we know them, rather they are more like agencies. They will make a dress, sell a dress, but they also rent bridal dresses - remember that many people have very limited resources there and don't have money to buy a gown.
Alex & Rachel
I LOVE the dress, sunnybear, it's amazing! And I was thinking of wearing a jacket exactly like that! Although it wouldn't be to hide tattoos but to hide my arms in general - they're definitely the worst part of my body. Like Blake I'd be interested in knowing where you bought it from. smile.gif
shes
the "bolero" (jacket) longsleeves is like a modern touch in bridal gowns now a days..also, i noticed on american bridal mags, sash are in...il dig on the Alfred Angelo styles of gown..theyre simply elegant. just the way i want it. good.gif

beautiful gown sunnybear!!!
sunnybear
Aww thanks so much! PeriDress is the site I ordered from....but it is not the dresses pictured on the site! It is knockoffs! Soooo it is not going to be exactly like the one shown but crap at a fraction of the price I think it was well worth it!!! Let me know if you would like more info!

just read from some posts that there were "lucky" csc december filers who got approved already. though most approvals are from november filers without rfe. shes, try the timeline search in vj. i usually search for people who got approved recently (you can put the dates that you want) then look at those people's timelines to see when they filed. but of course, that's just based on filers that are here in vj.

uscis actually posts which files they are currently working at (*check uscis processing times) but i guess it's not really accurate. or at least i hope its not accurate because the last time i checked, it says that they're still working on september files. unsure.gif

and also..i read in other posts that you can check the famous IGOR'S LIST to see updates on approvals smile.gif

oh yeah...ive heard for so many times that "igor's list"....where and what is that? where is it based from?

i agree! there were december filers who got their approval, while some november filers still havent got theirs...my opinion is, i think the files sometimes are just scattered in an adjudicator's desk and randomly, he'll jus pick up a file then examines it...ofcourse these adjudicators are also "HUMAN"..not robots... so some rough roads on the way are expected..

i still believe that theres nothing impossible with God. considering "rough roads", prayer is the key (seriously) yes.gif

this is IGOR'S LIST: http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/default.aspx just bookmark it so you could find it again.. it is also in Rachel's sig and also in other member's sig as well.....

it is based on the timeline created by members here on VJ.. and the more member create and update their timeline the more accurate IGOR's list become.
dbears
Your name one Igor's list move up as people who filed before you gets approved and update their timeline.... if you have seen the January VSC thread... the list on that is also based on IGOR's list (a separate list for VSC filers). Blake is also watching igor's list for the first january CSC approvals...

The list only only holds 20 recent approvals, the oldest on the list of approved gets pushed down as new approvals come in so as of now you can only see 1 december approval since the first batch of december approvals were approved around first week of march and there had been others approvals from different months since then.

Igor has put a great amount of time and effort in putting up that list and we can do our share by updating our timeline when new info comes in and also calling the attention of other poeple/member who don't have timeline to create a timeline or to update their timeline.

Igor's list rock! dancin5hr.gif
JeroenAndMichelle
I could be wrong but I got a feeling that either his list is not working right, the data he is receiving is not right or something else is not correct...

When I look at his list, I did not see any changes the last few days... the last approved person is still from april 10 (at this moment) on Igor's list while the date in the following image (which you can find under the link 'Immigration Timeline' above):

is still changing almost daily.. it went from november 13 to 15 to 17 while the one in Igor's list was the same all the time :S

I could be seeing things but it feels like it aint correct :S

Also, is there some way to ask Igor to make a minor adjustment to his list? At the moment it is sorted on date of the NOA1 but it would be cool if the second sort would be done on the NOA2 or something... it feels kinda unsorted at some points and since I am a webdeveloper myself, I know it can be sorted on more than one way at the same time in the SQL queries.
dbears
I don't know if I follow your thoughts correctly.

IGOR's LIST: http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/default.aspx

The first part of the list is the "Last 20 K1 I-129F NOA2s from CSC" which is sorted by NOA2 date.. the topmost being the recently approved and approvals on the same day are sorted by the date they filed their I-129F. I do find it very orderly but its just me.

there is an item there for: NAMES, I-129F SENT, I-129F NOA1, I-129F RFE, I-129F NOA2, Updated last

The second part is the "Last 20 K3 I-129F NOA2s from CSC:"

Then followed by: "Still waiting for NOA2 from CSC K-1 I-129F within the CSC processing time (2007-09-09)"

And then other parts...

Igors list is dependent upon the current members who add and update their timelines in real time.

The VJ Immigration Timeline, on the other hand is dependent upon the history of approval cases on VJ from years back which is also a little screwed now becoz of the backlogs caused by the influx of application before the increase last year... they say it will still take a few more months to make the VJ timeline a little more accurate.... and right now the best gauge is Igor's list since it is updated in real time.. meaning if there is no approval there wont be any changes on the list.

Right now approvals in both center (VSC & CSC) is really, really crawling. No latest shouts of "OMG! I GOT NOA2!!! I"m gonna faint!"... it is sometimes over ecstatic and others still waiting sometimes gets pissed but i think it is way better than pure silence or total lack of NOA2 jubilation cray5ol.gif

It seems the computer notification has been either broken or unreliable lately. Most CSC notices have come by snail mail. I am not sure if they are also having to do something extra at CSC as the files are being terribly slow at reaching NSC. The week I got approved ( week of March 31 ) At the end of the week I was the only one that reported having mine. That is probably because I live about an hour from CSC. Now it shows 9 people. The week shows 2 , I bet in another week it will also grow as the snail mail arrives. Whatever has happened seems to be going on for a while. My online account still shows that I am pending so I think it isn't fixed either.

The first part is, indeed, pretty well ordered... About the order I am talking more about the third part (still waiting for NOA2 etc).. for example, the first two lines are dated like this:

I-129F Sent - I-129F NOA1 - I-129F RFE - Updated Last
2007-09-07 - 2007-09-19 - - 2008-01-10
2007-09-07 - 2007-09-10 - - 2007-11-22

It would be, well in my opinion, nicer ordered if it was like this:

2007-09-07 - 2007-09-10 - - 2007-11-22
2007-09-07 - 2007-09-19 - - 2008-01-10

Like ordered on sent date first, then NOA1, then RFE if applicable and then the last updated date. At the moment this section is only sorted on the I129F sent date. I could be wrong but it looks to be this way.

Isn't it so that the timeline shown, where it actually says "Petitions with NOA1 dates as follows are currently being processed:" that these dates are actual dates entered by members of VJ? I mean, for CSC I have seen the date for the K1 on that particulairy list go from Nov 10 to Nov 20 and from there back to Nov 13 and now it is back at Nov 17... I mean, if it looks back to the actual history, it should normally only go up and not go up, down, and up again. It kinda looks a bit crooked to me.

It's not like I am saying here that the whole thing doesn't make sense or something, also I don't want to say that people shouldn't be happy when they get a NOA2 or anything.. on the contrary, I am happy with these lists and I am happy to see people being approved as it shows that the USCIS is still working.. I was just wondering about these lists and how they're working and if they were correct with the latest additions smile.gif

I understand what you mean now yes.gif ... yeah it would be nice if it will be sorted the way you mentioned it... maybe you could PM igor about it. he did mention about making improvements on the list, but maybe he got busy with his then fiancee's interview and then the recent wedding (he got married march, i just don't know if he is back from the honeymoon already) but i'm sure he'd welcome any suggestion and maybe you guys could help each other create the code to improve it. here's his profile: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showuser=38530

it probably goes up when there are early approvals, like late november or december CSC filers and then it goes down again when there are filers from way back june getting approval after the longest time (in CSC case there was a july filer and september filer recently approved)... unfortunately there are still some filers left behind from both centers. their approvals are way overdue and they do deserve to be approved soonest though everytime there is an approval like that it affects the timeline trend and also the tentative adjudication date in individual timelines.

she's you're #161 last time i checked... it could go up if there will be approvals from people who filed before you but it could go down again if there will be people who filed september to early january who will join and will create their timeline. since they have filed before you, their names would be inserted before you on the list.

but you will eventually get to the 100mark once CSC picks up again. good.gif
