This packet seems so slim compared to some past submissions. Here's our table of contents:
1. Check #xxxx in the amount of $545, fee for form I-751.
2. Original form I-751.
3. Copy front and back of green card issued to C.
4. Copy of official Birth Certificate of baby, son of C & S.
5. Copy of Deed of Trust showing joint title ownership for house located at current address.
6. Copies of Wells Fargo joint checking account statements from March/April 2006 and February/March 2008 showing continued co-mingling of assets.
7. Copy of Liability Insurance for car, proof of shared address and joint financial responsibility.
8. Copy of e-bill from State Farm Insurance for Liability Insurance showing both names and common current address.
9. Copy of bill from hearing center showing shared address as well as joint responsibility for baby.
10. Copy of Certificate of Group Health Coverage for the entire family from C’s job and shared current address. Copy of enrollment notice listing family unit and dependents.
11. Copy of notice from IRS addressed jointly at our current address.
12. Copy of envelope from Northern Ireland addressed to both of us, it contained a birthday party invitation for C’s father’s surprise party.
13. Copy of 2007 joint income tax return.

I was planning to put a family picture in at the end as well.

Does this look complete to you pros out there?

Thanks for looking!

Looks good!

Did you also file your 2006 income tax as married?
Cassie
your financial evidence in particular needs to span the length of your marriage. As eau_xplain mentioned, it is good to not just include your most recent income tax documents, but all that you have filed since you have been married. Same with bank records or bills -- a representative sample over the lifetime of your marriage is good.

A picture of your family wouldn't hurt either, IMHO. smile.gif

Best wishes to you!

I'm glad you noticed my oversight. It (the 2006 return) was in the packet but I missed putting it in the table of contents!

Honestly, this is the one time I wish we had a car payment.. lol

It sounds like you had more to put in than we did (we don't have a child, a car, or a house). I thought we had put in enough with taxes, bills, leases, letters addressed to us, pictures, chirstmas cards and letters, and ticket stubs for joint travel, but we got RFEd. For the resubmission we added three affidavits from family, friends, and neighbors, a letter describing how we met, our wedding, and major events during our marriage (which was requested in our RFE), and more pictures, bills, letters, etc. We were approved within a month. So if you want to be sure, you might consider adding affidavits and a page or two describing your marriage. Also, if you have evidence of joint travel in the form of ticket stubs, receipts or pictures, it couldn't hurt.
