To all the other Fil/Am couples that we've come to know in various forms, a warm felt thank you - it was really a huge help to know others who have shared similar experiences - the adjustment we both went through not only to everyday married life, but to a different country and culture. A sense of humor and lots of laughter got us through some trying times as well as lots of crying. We have created and continue to create our own new culture - a blend of both of ours, of what kinds of food we eat to what kinds of entertainment we watch, to even how we make choices as parents. Both of us being flexible to new things has been helpful in adapting to one another. For two stubborn people, we've done remarkably well. I love you, my friend, my lover, my soulmate.
