Went and saw that flick last night. based onthe true story of a blackjack team formed from MIT students! Was ok, a tad slow, more of a rental than forking out $22 to see it at the theatre!!

$$ -- No kidding. We went to see Meet the Browns the other night. Same review.... wait for it to be on t.v. At least you're not paying $6.50 for bulk burnt popcorn. Should have asked for our money back. I think we dropped ~$30 by the time all was said and done. There's two hours of my life I'll never get back. mad.gif

I hear ya. I'm going to do the same the next time. I'm not much of a movie-goer.... my husband pretty much has to pry me out of the house to go to one, so I had not a clue that it was so darned expensive. mad.gif They were actually charging $4 for a crappy old little shrivelled-up hotdog! ohmy.gif I don't think we'll be going to that movie theatre again.

If one goes to the earlier shows (usually before 6 pm) they can be cheaper!! We don't goto that many shows, usually just wait and rent them!!

The last two movies I saw in theatres (theater) were Miss Congeniality and Bewitched. The first movie was fine, except for the anti-Canadian content but I realized that I hate staring up at the big screen (sore neck) and I only went because I had a free passes. Bewitched was terrible. I liked watching reruns of the TV show as a kid but the movie was crap. Nicole Kidman was much better in To Die For. If it wasn't for the fact that I had free passes I would have asked for my money back. laughing.gif I never rent, I just wait until they come on PPV or the movie channels. If The last time I ate anything from the concession at a theatre was when I was a kid; it was a box of rosebuds and the movie was a re-release of Mary Poppins.
