Once your case is complete at NVC, they will forward the case to Manila when they set the appointment date. Ours took about a month. Once that happens the automated at NVC will tell you the application has been forwarded and within a couple of days the Manila embassy site will show your appontment. You will also receive the appointment letter (both agent and beneficiary). That letter will show on the last page any items that are still needed. We had new forms for everything but weren't ask for any.

have your fiance call the nvc and ask for a status update. Or you can send them an email which the adress is on there website. I requested they send me an email to tell me when my case was forwarded, which they did. Then call the Embassy and schedule an interview, using there 800 number. I cant remember the numbers off hand but there is an 18 dollar fee to use that service but it is worth it because you may get your interview a lot sooner than if you dont call them right away.

You just need to call the NVC and get your MNL case number. It should only take a few days to arrive at the Embassy. you do not need to wait for anything to schedule your interview after you get your MNL case number. The number to call from the US is 888 877 9888. Yes you do have to pay 18.00 US dollars for a pin that you can use to call the Embassy 3 times.
