Hi! Can i file for an EAD first prior to AOS? we can only afford for the EAD for now and i would want to get a job before i file for AOS or green card. Thanks much!

We tried to do it before P2 for I-130 and got denied.
Told to have P2 1st, at least thats what they told us.

For K3 visa holders, yes you can file for EAD first then AOS anytime later. I think you file A6 or A9 check the instructions on this. The EAD will be for the life of your K3 visa, 2 years.
