I'm trying to figure out what additional cash I need to send her. I've already sent a boatload of cash. Also, anyone know of what fees I will need when She arrives here in the US.. a rough estimate?

as far as once she gets to the states, apart from the wedding, I think that the next fee to pay is the AOS which is like $1100. Someone let me know if I am wrong.

Mike,
You can do your AOS anytime after you are married and have your Marriage Certificate. You actually have until your I-94 expires, but some people go beyond that date......

just an additional expense is the CFO seminar that your girl needs to undergo - P400 - sticker and P250 - certificate

Well, the reason I asked, I recall before leaving the US to see Zandy august/sept of last year.. the I-129F was $170? then I get back and I find out it went to $455. I have no problem in sending what I need for my fiancee to be here kicking.gif but sometimes I wonder why all the fees.. I just want to be prepared.

The fees have been in place for years with the exception of the document verification and now toll call for interview date. You can thank Emilio Gonzalez for the 60% raise in USCIS fees and failed promise to speed up the visa process.

The visa fee increased from $100 to $131 because the Department of State claimed they were losing money on printing visas.

Uh, really? that doesn't seem possible. If I recall correctly I29F, Visa and AOS runs about $1700. Uhm, how is that extra $31 offsetting the cost of paper, ink, and a stamp?

BTW my comments were just the frustration that the government doesn't feel that they're taking enough of our money in this process.

i was asked to bring 3 only. btway, tell her not to forget to write her name at the back of each pics. 1 pic will be attached to her forms that she has to fill up on the first day of her medical, and the remaining 2 pics will be asked from her on the second day.
