OMG!! i just check my case number online and found out i was scheduled for Medical at ST. Lukes on 5th May at 7:00am,
i thought we can just go there anytime we want?

From what I understand when I talked to somebody at the Call Center..they said the LATEST to do medical is 1 week before interview but you can go ahead before that.. May 5th is like a week before May 12. To me it just seems like a reminder to complete your medical on or before May 5th which is about a week from your interview. So just go ahead and do your medical early unless the good people at St.Lukes tells you to come back some other time.

Joe&Ghe is right, you can go there anytime you want now that you have an interview appointment.

The old packet 4 says: "When you go to SLMCEC for medical examination, you must bring your interview appointment letter, passport, and one photo (size:2"x2")."

Whereas, in the revised packet 4, they have omitted the appointment letter and it only tells you to bring your pasport and one 2"x2" photo. BUT there was somebody here who was told by the embassy that she doesn't need appointment letter to go to SLMCEC but when she went there they refused to accomodate her without appointment letter. That was a week or two ago. Maybe the embassy and SLMCEC have had proper communication regarding new requirements now but to be on the safe side just have your confirmation email and also that online appointment page printed out.

BTW, did you check your appointment online on this link: http://203.177.135.10/ivappointment/login.asp ? I have tried checking our case number but it still says "case number not found on appointment list" We have called for appointment lst tuesday, april 1. Do you think I should give them a few more days to update the list or did you have another site where we could check our appointment online? Thanks.

Hi everyone! My Fiancee, Maria, would like to meet all of you there on May 12! She will fly to Manila on April 27 for a April 28 medical. Then fly to Manila again on May 11 for her May 12 interview. She will be traveling with her Mom and our 9 month old daughter.

oh I just love the month of May aside froom its my mom's birthday and the month of 'Flores de Mayo" in Philippines, its the same month from last year that I had my interview and of course it was a success.

i think we just need to keep the reciept and insert it with our other pertinent documents. As for going to the embassy maybe you'w want to have an ocular inspection on the place to check where you need to stay prior to appointed time or where you need to line up when you go for the interview proper but its optional.

btw, to those who will be coming from the province, have you made arrangements where to stay for the medical and then for the interview?

I called and got Riza's interview scheduled for 05/27. They told me that as of today, interview dates from 05/13-05/29 were available except for 05/26. This is likely because of the Memorial Day Holiday.

My interview is on May 16, guess I can be included in group's list...

Just a question though: I have not received my packet but the US Embassy in Manila's website indicates that the interview schedule is set on the date mentioned above, at 8:30am. On the website, it also specifies that the medical exam schedule is also on the same date, May 16 at 12:00am...hellow!!!! that's 12 midnight!!!! Is this the same case as those with IR cases? Can anyone help in clarifying this? Should this really be followed?

Yup! Right here... my fiancee recently scheduled her medical exam and visa interview. The embassy said April is FULL already so they gave her May 14 medical exam and May 21 Visa Interview which is PERFECT!
The notice letter from the embassy also arrived the day my fiancee called to schedule her interview. The embassy even said that beneficiaries DO NOT have to wait for the notice letter before calling( which don't make any sense...how do we know they have our application? we keep calling and get charge per minute?).
They also instructed my fiancee to download and print the packets and forms online from their website. It means they stopped sending forms and packets to beneficiaries in the philippines.

My schedule of interview is on May 22 at 6:30 am and i was asking if that can be moved earlier still since i read here that medical can be scheduled earlier cause they gave me wrong schedule at 12:00 Am. THis forum is a great help. Im grateful they introduced me this site

I believe you can move your schedule. Someone from here have tried that and they were given a new schedule of their preference (based on the available scheds).

#36. None. that question is a little bit tricky but it actually asked if before your present petitioner, has anybody else from the past ever filed a visa on your behalf.

#25. Yes you can put your husband's work/office #. sometimes they will do a background check of your petitioner.

Hello guys, did you fill up your machine validated DS157 after paying your visa application fee? It says we have to bring 2 copies of DS157 during interview,does it mean the machine validated copy we get from the bank would be the 2nd copy? I was thinking to fill up 2 copies and just leave the machine validated from the bank empty. but still I´d rather love to know any suggestions, it´s just kinda confusing... THANKS!:)

I forgot where i read it but somebody mentioned that if the bank would be ok to validate a prefilled DS 157 then it would be ok to just have them validate one of your prefilled copy... pero kung di daw, just bring 3 DS157 on your interview, the 2 copies which you will fill up online and also the copy that the bank wil give you.... pls read the K1 visa guide of sheriff uling baka don ko nabasa and there are also Q&A there, it will really be helpful.
