Im already finished w/ my medical exam last April24-25! At ang interview ay 7:30am on May. Paki add na lang po.

Btw, any suggestions about simple and light weight wedding gown? saan kaya puede bumili?

Hi guys I had my medical yesterday and it took me almost 12 hours to finish everything (8AM til 7:40PM). There are alot of people...lots of waiting, sitting, standing and almost fall asleep while in 5th floor for my Physical Exam. Should have gone there in the afternoon instead. And to make this perfect day sad.gif even better I was asked to come back next week, May 7, for my vaccination and tests result. Maybe because they want to give way to people who will gonna have their interview sooner than mine. mad.gif

Hi most of the people here in visajourney (Philippines section) have their medical in two consecutive days, do you think I have something to worry about coz mine is not? And congratulations in passing your interview!

Hi AJ, you're right, most people here just did their medical for 2 consecutive days. It's a puzzling why SLEC people asked you to come back next week. You should have asked them if something was wrong with any of the medical exam you have undergone (so far). I hope and pray that there is no problem with your med.

Sorry to hear this Aj. I will go tomorrow for medical, probably will arrive at St. Lukes by lunch. Good luck and hope you will have no problem next week.

I was just thinking the same thing. We are all so close to our approvals. We should all declare our victories. biggrin.gif In such a short time everyone here will have their positive medical results and their Visa approvals and be on their way to see their SO's.

I agree with Riza, you should have asked SLEC why are they making you come back a week after... I don't know if you are from Manila but for people who would be coming from the provinces, staying in Manila for an extra week just to get medical result would be too expensive... i do hope you would hear some good news soon and I hope and pray that this will not interfer with your interview schedule.

It's last day of April and the 1st of May tomorrow.. I hope and pray that April showers would indeed bring lots of May flowers!!!! Our victory will be God's victory!!! You are all in my prayers!

Hello! Question lang po? Is it really advisable to go to SLEC in the afternoon for the medical examination? If so, why?.... unsure.gif

Hi Joyce, I know a few who advised me to go to SLEC in the afternoon. Mas marami daw tao pag umaga. So, I will be going there around 1 or 2 PM during my medical.

CONGRATS to Julie (ammike) for finishing the medical early today... Congrats coz she passed and congrats coz she finished medical before the increase on may 2.

For the rest who have not finished medical yet:
On May 2, 2008, St. Luke's Medical Center Extension Clinic (SLMCEC), the Embassy's accredited medical facility, will increase the medical examination fee by U.S. $30.70 to cover the costs of administering the currently available new vaccinations. The new medical exam fees will be U.S. $213.35 for adults (15 years and older) and U.S. $185.35 for children (under 15 years of age). wacko.gif crying.gif crying.gif crying.gif

Hi Everyone!! My Fiancee Maria just completed Her Medical at SLEC on 4-28 and 4-29!! She and our Daughter passed just fine. They went in the AM and Maria said it was very crowded! She suggested it would be best to go in the afternoon. We are looking forward to her May 12 interview na!!

Si shape di natuloy pamedical di ba? Gusto lang ni Aingela na samahan yong mga di pa nakapagmedical sa medical fee increase jest.gif

si Fatima hindi kami nagkita sa SLEC kasi sabi niya in PM siya pupunta! nandun ako waiting for her sa first day 29 until 3pm ako dun wala si Fatima.. sad.gif ianantay ko rin si Shape kaya lang i received text from her na baka Friday na siya mag start and balik ng Monday..
So ako lang VJ duon mag isa /// sad.gif ///

Bawas lakwatsa sila, they need to have 2 glasses of milk a day, continue and vitamins and then another dose for vit. C and i have explained to them what to expect sa medical most especially sa P.E. na kailangan maghubad talaga.

yon nga lang, im preparing them but I am not really preparing myself... i don't take any vits at all.. but I will be fine with God's grace. I have lifted it all to Him.

Thank you talaga for the well wishes... hope CSC will pick up speed para marecieve mo na NOA2 mo.

To all the VJ members of May Medical schedule. A little advices, milk is not help you during your x-ray examination. In medical its not acceptable until now. when you inhale and exhale your lungs will expand so that if you have a problems in your lungs it will be show the problem by you inhaling and exhaling. So, Milk is not help.

Just relaxed and dont be stress. Put all faith in GOd. Remember, the TB will get from airborne its a droplets virus when we are in crowded place. Do not shy to put mask while you are in aircon public transportation, street and specially avoid to the people in street who was blowing smoke from their cigar. Its have a big possible we transmitted their disease.

If you are not feeling well, dont go medical exam its make u more trouble. (this for all the members who was having a early med.) Note. if you not having a medical schedule you can go an early medical its better you know early if you have a trouble.

Geez! Hindi na co tumuloy kahapon for medical, so tomorrow and Monday aco nakasched. Tamang tama, yun nakalagay talaga sa appointment co haha, kaso nabasa co tumaas na daw ang fee? hehe, kung alam co lang na tataas nag tuloy na sana aco kahapon.

Have a good results in your medical shape and have a nice stay in manila... Howīs the weather over there nowadays? hope all sunny and walang bagyo unsure.gif Will be in Manila soon too, arriving on May 8th!!!

When I woke up this morning, I was feeling so excited. Finally, it's the month of MAY...our month biggrin.gif I pray that God will grant everyone of us perfect health, and may He constantly gives us the wisdom and strength to our final steps in the K1 visa journey.
