I had all my fiance's documents translated and the translator signed an affidavit of translation at the bottom saying they know english and spanish..blah blah blah...but it is not notarized. Do you think this should be notarized or is it ok with just the translator's signature?

Thanks everyone!

No, translations don't have to be notarized.

You do not have to notarize a translation

Why would you notarize it anyway? To prove it was that person who is signing...?

You don't have to.

I'm too lazy. Someone make a thread explaining the difference between "notarized" and ""certified".
