Hi all,

I had the old police certificate but did not want to take any risks and sent for new one last Thursday. Considering that Friday and Monday were bank holidays, ACPO received it on Tuesday and I got it today kicking.gif It's actually looks much more professional than the old one smile.gif

What is worrying is that a body which is nothing more than a staff association like any other union and is not subject to police regulations has access to criminal records. They have no doubt an employee carrying out these checks and it makes you wonder just how secure that information will be.

about as secure as any other information held in the united kingdom - 17 year old temp agency workers on minimum wage will be responsible for copying it onto CD-Rom and sending it between offices.
