My husband asked him then he said that the I-129f was sent shortly upon the receipt of NOA1. He never mentioned the date and I am so irritated. Till now we are so clueless the fact that we received NOA1 of I-130 few days after it has been sent. What happened to the other one (I-129f)? Nobody knows....
Can't he understand that I need the exact date? He will receive another call from us today. I need a specific answers to my questions.

lawyers r not the most friendly people...if u guys hired one get on their case...let them show u all the attitude they want..u r paying them all this cash and u need an answer whenever u want...he works according to u, u dont work according to him..good luck!

In 6 months CSC people will be saying the same thing about the VSC people. It goes in cycles. Last year CSC was the slow one. It sux waiting for someone else to make decisions about your future. We have very little control.

If your husband a philegmatic Mr Nice Guy like mine, they don't ask direct and confrontational questions like "when EXACTLY did you mail the I-129F and did you receive any NOA for it?"
I can understand exactly the specific answer to specific question part. :-)
I know my husband would start making friends with USCIS reps instead of asking them questions if he didn't have a script prepared for him. May be you should get the lawyer's telephone number or email, and contact him on your own.

Yes, he is (Mr. So Very Nice Guy).. I knew the e-mail address of the lawyer but sometimes he is not even replying (husbie says he might be busy) . Anyway, husbie will get the answers (specific) from him today (after my tantrums last night ). Thanks Leah..

There looks like a lot of movement on the spreadsheet but it isn't due to approvals, just add-ons. My patience is a little thin this week - thank God I started playing basketball again.

Well when I checked yesterday, I got a touch, today I received a email from CRIS stating my NOA2 was mailed on 8-8-08 so maybe it was approved on the 7th but my guess it was yesterday.

Yeah there's been a lot of touches and approvals on CSC cases over the past few days. They're probably in a frenzy trying to clear out as many as possible before the VSC transfers hit their desks.

Every time I get a touch, I get little nervous. I am tired of it, 10 touch now in row.

Could all IR1/CR1 visa applicants who have been transferred from VSC to CSC please advise me so that I can update your details.

I have decided to distinguish between those newly transferred filers from VSC with those already at CSC. This way we can see how much of an impact this change has on both reducing VSC backlog and on existing CSC filers. Please also include the date your case was transferred.
