Racerly,
SLEC often has to repeat the xray, don't kow if it is a problem with the skill of the technicians or the mainteance of the equipment. Hopefuly everything will end up just fine! We will hold a good thought for you!

Samby
NEITHER... They repeat all X-rays if they saw something different on the film. The second X-ray is on a different view of the lungs to make sure that they are ok.
Ummm....No....

Feeling a bit bold today again, I see.... As you guys have been around here a long time like me, you no doubt know that there are plenty of posts here discussing complaints regarding the quality of the xrays taken at SLEC. Sure, there are legitimate times when a well taken xray on well maintained exquiment needs to be repeated. But the incidence of second and third shots at SLEC is way over that water mark. In addition, as many others have observed, we are paying for a TB screen - NOT an XRAY. It is SLEC's chice to use XRAY as the screening device. If they determine they need 1 or 2 or 3 XRays in order to complete their screen, then that's on them and should be covered by the (now outrageous) $180 fee.
Warm Regards,
Samby (10 year Hospital XRAY Tech!)
