HI everyone!

I used the phone company, Beeline, when I was living in Saint-Petersburg last year. Of course I made mutiple calls and SMS' to my fiance. Does anyone know of a way to obtain call history/sms history from them w/out having to pay some 50 billion rubles???

By the way, I was just using their pay-as-you-go service (buying prepaid card with a certain amount)

Any and all advice welcome!
Thanks so much!

You should address your question directly to beeline. Very few Amerians on this forum use Beeline.

I rather doubt there is a way. Not saying for sure, but just really doubt it. Especially since most mobile over there is bought with a card for however many minutes (as you are experienced with). As Sat said, best to contact Beeline.

I have just told my Vasya (fiance) to ask Beeline about this. He asked why I hadn't asked him in the first place since he lives in SPB--where Beeline is located. Duh!

But thanks for your answers, guys.

I've never used Beeline, just tele2 and megafon, but they might keep these kinds of records for your sim, even though you used pay as you go. You might be able to go to a Beeline office and ask them. The main issue is who was the sim registered to--if it was registered to you with your registration and passport, Vasya can't get these records. Conversely, if it was under Vasya's name, only he can obtain them.

But i don't think call records are that important--if you have proof of your life in spb together i think it's enough.

On another note--glad to see another girl with a russian guy. Very few of us in this forum. laughing.gif my guy is in spb too.

Thanks! Oh that's great there's actually a GIRL here with a Russian GUY!!!!!! Starting to think I was the only one... tongue_ss.gif It's so funny because whenever I do any kind of search on K1 visas + Russia/an, it's always always always geared only for men abroad---not for females abroad---dealing with a/their Russian girl. It actually is quite annoying that the thought of a Russian guy being with a non-Russian doesn't even seem to cross anyone's mind. Ah well.
That's so cool your fiance also happens to live in SPB too...maybe they know each other .... headbonk.gif ... Any area-specific advice you can give me? I'm adding you as a friend--hope you don't mind!
eekee
If you told me what bars he frequents, i could tell you if they knew each other or not. smile.gif do you mean "area" as in "russian men," "spb," or "being one of the only usc girls on the russia forum"? laughing.gif

Blues Fairy
Easy.
Go to beeline.ru, Мой Билайн, register an account with the phone#, and order whatever phone records you need using their interface. Records for 1 months cost $1 as far as I remember; the sum is taken off your phone.
eekee
And other providers will have the same deal, right? (Just for my future reference:))

Anka, in this case don't forget to have Vasya put some money on your phone.))

It smells all good in here now. All like jasmine and lavender and fresh ocean breeze. I think I even detect a slight hint of vanilla....

The other forums smell like sweaty gym socks and stale beer.

Just a note, we didn't have any phone records and were not even asked about them. All the photos we had of us together in Russia, Egypt, China and especially together with her family seemed to be all our interviewer needed. He didn't even need to see our emails we had with us.

slim
Yeah, my wife didn't take any with her either. No problems.

From what I remember, they checked our hand-written letters and a couple of printed e-mails that she took with her. And the pictures. They looked at every single picture.

Kazan' Tiger
They just wanted to check out your Lena more! Hmmm, or maybe you cutie! laughing.gif Sorry couldn't help it, the gay thread is still fresh in my mind! laughing.gif

Oh man!

Now we're rolling! So, what about a K-1 visa for your fiancee and one for your fiancee's fiance as well? Wouldn't it be swell if you could sponsor "both" of your "buddies" over here?

And yes, the pink rabbit ears do make more sense now. Especially since Easter has come and gone. We should've been seeing.... ah..... what the hell is the next holiday? Maybe a baseball hat in honor of opening day? Either way, way to gay it up with the pink rabbit ears. Fuzzy cuffs, anyone?
eekee
Maybe he's just celebrating easter like a russian now too... Orthodox easter's at the end of april this year, i believe.

Next big holiday is mother's day, i believe. I wonder what kind of hats that will bring us.

Oh... there is something in between. New look coming real soon. wink.gif

And good point... Easter isn't until 27 April! laughing.gif

That's what I thought. Usually we celebrate both in my family but this year my mom felt western easter was too early, so in protest we are only doing orthodox.

Being an international family has to be cool because, like divorced family kids, there are two (or more!) holidays.

So I guess being a kid with divorced parents from different countries, living in a third country, that'd be the best way to go, materialistically speaking.

eekee
The best is international parents living in a 3rd country where one parent is jewish and the other is christian. My brother and sister get hannukah and xmas presents. If my dad was the orthodox one instead of my mom they'd have 2 xmases, hannukah, and new years.

SCORE!!!

From a kid standpoint, it doesn't get much better than that! (Except for when you have to put on your Saturday and Sunday best.)

You guys are all so supportive and helpful---it's unbelievable that all the mundane questions I ask have not once been received by a snarky reply or whatnot. Thank you! And thanks for the info about what they seem to care about more in seeing...
...so, should I also include some pictures of me with his various family members even if Vasya is not in the photo? Or is it better that all pictures I give have us together?
eekee
Well, i would think with Vasya, because otherwise you could have just hired random russians to be in the picture with you. smile.gif

I think throwing in a few with the family, even without him, is a good idea. It shows that at least you've met his family too and puts another piece of evidence into the "establishing a real relationship."

Regardless, I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. Women petitioning for men is almost a shoo-in because there's not a huge number of women here willing to sponsor a Russian man via K-1. If you've done it, then you must love him!

rose.gif rose.gif rose.gif Yeah, that's what I was getting at by showing pics with the family, etc!...Of course the important ones will be of him and I, but ones with his family can only be a plus! (and his cousins and brother look so similar, it's pretty obvious that I didn't just "get some Russian off the street"---but I realize even that is not "real" proof of anything in the USCIS eyes..)
Thanks...err, spasibo bol'shoe! biggrin.gif
