Hello all,

So i went today for the medical
It took about 3 hours with a long wait in the middle blink.gif (i guess the nurse went to eat... wish i would have done that too)

1 - they take the passport, photocopy the first page then return it to you and keep your vaccination records
2 - you need to fill up a form with your past medical conditions, your gae, the medication you take etc
3 - visit with the doctor, ask questions about what you put as answers in the first forms, then you put the little jacket (and you keep your underwear) check blood pressure, knock on knee and feet to see if it reacts, listen to your heart, check inside your ears and mouth... and that's it ! (yessss !!!!!!!, no private part checking)
4 - then back in the waiting room, then the XRays.....from the back, from the side
5 - then back in the waiting room, wait wait wait (seriously at least 1h30)
6 - See the nurse, take 2 blood sample for vih and syphillis probably, sign papers as i authorize the result to go to the consulate. She informs me that i don't need any vaccination (knew it... i did some before tongue.gif since i was due for some)
7 - mini wait
8 - pay (213.22$Can) on visa and she informs me that i need to call them 2 days later to see if they received the result... (So i could go pick it up)

Special answer for yomtl:
True on the packet 3 they say 4 to 6 months for an interview but.....
on the liz list, recently it seams there is hope for sooner interviews... i just hope for it so much tongue.gif
4 to 6 months would kill me!

Yay! That's awesome hon.
Very cool...sorry you had to wait so long but at least it's over and done with!!!

I don't think you are looking at 4 months at all...looking at people's time lines it's looking to be about a 2 month wait for an interview.
Best of luck hon!!! biggrin.gif

That's awesome!! kicking.gif

Thanks for the update. I love reading about other people's experiences, it prepares me for what is next to come.

I agree with Laura, you'll probably get an interview date within 2 months. Good luck!! biggrin.gif
