hi
I am from Pakistan. My Mother file my case in 2004 she is green card holder.i get my visa type and case number.my visa type is f2a and priority date 15jan2004.now how much time it will take now.

You are considered to be 2B priority, Department of State is working on cases filed Mar 99.

If your mother can naturalize then she can upgrade the petition which will speed up the process.

Keep in mind this is for Un-Married children, if you marry this voids the petition filed by an LPR, only US Citizens can file petitions for married sons and daughters.

Approximately 5 years, not 9. Your priority date has already matured 4 years.

Yes, it is about 5 years. I have the same situation with my daughter and got that answer just yesterday, her priority date is August 2004
