I have my letter requesting biometrics which will be this friday, and the receipt number is on here, but when i enter it on the USCIS website, its saying not found, would there be a few weeks delay for them getting it into the system? anyinfo appreciated!!

Sometimes it can be "read" on line before biometrics but it should become "operational" once biometrics are taken! Good luck!

I guess it's the same thing for me. I got a letter a couple of weeks ago, to extend my GC for one year while they are processing it. It has a receipt number (WAC....) but it is not recognized online.

where is the link to check the status?
I had my biometrics done march 11 2008.

I could never get the website to recognise our change-of-status receipt number. But we got the ten-year green card anyway. So try not to stress!
