We arrived in Ohio with no problems at our POE in Chicago. Now just the wait for the SSN and green card and we have a 21 month break from all the paperwork. It certainly isn't warm here yet, but my wife is enjoying the coldest temps she has ever experienced.

Very glad your here in the US now.. Just to inform you..make sure you go to the SS office and ask for your Social Security card because even though we marked on our DS forms for the USCIS to send us one they never summitted for a card to be sent to us. We didn't learn this until we visited the SS office ourselves.. Keep that in mind. Ok..

CONGRATS! WELCOME TO THE US AND ENJOY BEING TOGETHER. IF YOUR SSN WILL NOT ARRIVE IN 3-4WEEKS, YOU MAY HAVE TO GO TO THE NEAREST SS OFFICE AND APPLY FOR ONE. SOMETIMES USCIS DON'T SUBMIT AND FORWARD THIS INFO EVEN IF YOU CHECKED THAT PART ON THE DS-230 FORMS, AND YOU MAY BE WAITING FOR NOTHING TO ARRIVE IN YOUR MAIL. GOD BLESS.
