My wife talked to DHL (express shipping company like FedEx and UPS) about sending her original documents to the USA...and surprisingly he stated that the customs people in her country might have a problem with her sending her original birth certificate to the USA. I don't understand the problem. He said it might be a problem because it is a "personal original document."
Has anyone had any problems sending their original documents through customs...either in a foreign country or the USA? I saw one VJ member had his wife's documents held at the US customs office.
It seems that NOTHING is easy about this process!
